I arrived a day late because of two flight cancellations. In the first case, I asked a Novotel in Poznan where the airline put us up to call Novotel Warsaw that I am coming late next day. Next day, I emailed to the hotel that my new flight was cancelled again and that I am coming. At the airport, when i got to the shuttle stop, I realized that the airport "shuttle" was going only each two and half hours. Instead of waiting for the shuttle for two hours, a delivery van took me to the hotel. When I arrived, I was told by the receptionist that I have to wait before my room is ready - despite the fact that it was supposed to be ready a day before. Obviously, the hotel rented out my pre-paid room to someone else. When I inquired about the airport shuttle that I needed to take next day at around 6-6:30pm, I was told that the last shuttle goes at 1:30pm!! And, at the end, when i was finally given my room and opened the door, there were two other people in the room with a dog. Again, a mistake to give me a room where someone has already been staying. The manager gave me in the end an executive room and the hotel paid for my taxi to get to the airport next day. However, this service definitely does not correspond to a 4* service. I stayed in a number of Accor hotels and Novotels in particular and this has so far been absolutely the worst service I have ever received. In fact, it does not even correspond to a 3* service. The word "shuttle" means a transport back and forth between two destinations and not a random bus that goes every two and half hours and stops in the middle of the day. Based on this, you should have never advertized your hotel as a hotel with airport shuttle. After all, given the fact that I had with me two large and heavy suitcases, it was the main reason why I chose this and not another hotel. I hope that you can fix this hotels as it does not stand up to a generally good experience and reputation of other Novotels.

Ok, allocated a disabled room which although well equipped the basin was far to low and did not like the wet room shower. Have stayed many times at this hotel and prefer the garden rooms.

Could have been better. I was assigned a room on the 0 floor and asked to be given another option since they planned an event in the evening in the lobby. The desk person did do it but with an attitude. Calling the desk that evening was problematic —no answer at all. The email address of the hotel to print out my boarding pass was on the back of the room key was erroneous, it read: HO…— should have been H0527– a huge difference!!! Plus you could hardly read it!!! When asking for directions at the hotel no one knew anything, duh! The hotel mattress needs to be replaced. On the plus side it was a quiet evening to get much needed sleep. My stay in Szczecin at the Novotel Hotel was very good!! Hanna P.

« Small Hidden Resort with good connections to city »

Pool, pool, pool! It is not too common that city hotels have an outdoor pool. This was main reason why we booked Novotel Warsaw Airport. This hotel is a hidden gem miniature resort at midway between airport and city. Good public transport to both directions and all over Warsaw. Nice Excecutive rooms with separate toilet and bathroom. Walkin shower in bathroom and nice amenities. Good lightning, nice size tv 42” and small silver french balcony. Well not a balcony but a full wall window. I would have paid extra for a good balcony with some chairs and table. Nice restaurant, good service, really nice garden connected to pool area where to eat and unwind. No street noise. On negative side there is nothing within 1 kilomiter from hotel, no kiosks nor shops. Nearest grocery store is about one klick away easy to rech by bus 2-3 stops or just walking a straight road. Staff wad absolutely professional at all departments from bar, housekeeping, restaurant to front desk.

« Hotel doesn't deserve to be called a Novotel »

I am a silver Accor member. There was no priority check in or check out. At check in I was given a room on ground floor & I asked for a higher room but was toldi couldn't because of bed for child. lady forgot to take mt credit card and provide complementary drink card - I asked for drink card. When I went to have dinner I was told sorry no credit, cannot charge to the room. This embarrassed me. House maids took my three towels on floor and did not replace them. So we had 1 towel for 4 people. I tried to call reception many times but no one answered! Staff generally rude in all interactions. Flies and insects in buffet breakfast area. Staff desperately need training in hotel manners and how to be efficient in the Novotel way.

Always friendly people that work at Novotel. New rooms are perfect! Summer menu from the restaurant could be better. The sizes of the dishes are small. Even after two starters and a main dish leaving me still hungry unfortunately.

« Clean and confortable hotel - as expected from Novotel »

Access from the airport is excellent with the bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. The place itself is well kept, clean and I was welcomed warmly by the staff, who all spoke English. Room was spacious and comfortable, although I found the bed pillows a little firm for my liking (my opinion only). Hotel restaurant food and breakfast were delicious and well prepared with enough options to satisfy. Would have liked a couple more international TV channels to browse through, although the excellent Wi-Fi allowed me to do this on my phone instead.

I am very impressed and surprise by this hotel. Great, convenient location: not only close to the airport but also to the city center. Room was very clean so as the bathroom - very nice. The breakfast was exremly good and a very big choice. Last but not least - the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
