stay was awesome. Well connected by metro from city centre. The room was neat and clean, with comfortable beds. Walkable distance from europaplein metro station. Round the clock room service, breakfast with good variety of dishes. Fast checkout options. Overall a great place to stay.

Checking was perfect information on city from person at checking was easy to understand and worked In actual setting .Our room was slightly small almost no room on one side of bed,but was nice.Drink voucher worked for wine also,not just beer at some places and wine was nice.I would recommend this place.

You have a nice hotel, and I liked the stay. One thing though, when coming into business trip, most of the time we need an Iron and it was missing and couldn't find any not even on the laundry room or even pay service.

the room that I booked was not available. i was upgraded but to a room smelling of cigarettes and located in front of the elevators. very disappointing. I was upgraded again. Nice but overbooking is not a sign of professionalism. the room was fine and comfortable. personnel was kind and helpful.

Room was not clean enough (including coffee cups!); in the shower bassin the water did not properly go away; in the night it was impossible to sleep due to constant strange noise (probably coming from service room next door); my personal credit card was charged incorrectly (later reversed, but I needed to clarify it from my side)

I can't say that was nothing out of extraordinary neither bad. Quality of the rooms and space is great. But do not have any highlight either. Meaning breakfast is generous in offerings, but not sure on the quality. I felt it was not too many spaces just to sit and work and either. That'll be my biggest feedback as many people staying on this location came to work.

Room cleaning was OK, however housekeeping didn't put an extra bed on time, didn't remove the used glasses and even I have to ask for the face tissues in the room. Housekeeping staff was not courteous at all. Staff at the front desk was good. Feed was also nice..

While beeing in my room, 1405 I realised that I had no toothpaste. It was aproximately 22:40h. I rang reception to ask for some and they told me first that it could take some time for me to get it and afterwards that I would have to go downstairs for it as there was not personal available to bring it to my room. I explain that I was already in my pijamas but that didn't make any diference.... For a hotel of that size and category, where you have at that time, at least, 2-3 people just at the reception, I can't believe that no one could just take the lift and bring it up.... Didnt like that at all.

Stay was OK, but poor value for money, On 2 of the days of my 5 night stay my room was not cleaned simply it seems because I stayed in my room until after 12 noon.

I am always stay at the Sofitel and The Novotel every time we travel.we live in Vietnam part of the time and part of the time in the USA. I was the member of the Sofitel health club in Vietnam for 14 years. We always stay with Novotel in Sapa, Nhatrang and Phanthiet Vietnam. You do not have the one in Phanthiet anymore. In each of our staying we always come home with the the good memories, a wonderful experience, a nice time in each place. Novotel Amsterdam a very good location, the hotel very clean. I love your restaurant the best Everyone treats us with respect. Specially the chamber maid she is a sweet lady and very helpful. There was a small incident that I only found out after I got home. I have volunteer the information that two breakfast we ate not on bill and the person checking me out asked for the cash and I did pay her cash without thinking. The charges for the two breakfast have shown on my credit card again. I am not looking for the money back . I only wanted to let you know that you have the not very honest staff working behind the counter when I was checking out. This incident will not stop me from stopping staying in Novotel or Sofitel in our next travel. Thank you Le A.

One of the most unpleasant hotel stays. Rooms not being cleaned in spite of expressly asking staff to do so. Overall poor maintenance. You must not complain: only `happy' guests are welcome.

Busy. 2 quick nights and very busy hotel (all booked). No complaints. My only comment is about the water. In other hotels, there is complementary water bottle every day. This time, I only received it in the 1st day.
