« There was a great deal of difficulty with checking in »

1) The front desk gave our room to my sister. When I checked in an hour later they could not find my reservation. They then thought that perhaps I had a reservation under my other sister's name who had stayed the week before. The front staff was apologetic and very kind but they had difficulty straightening this out. They did also have some computer difficulties that might've caused some problems. 2) the Google website has the Novotel Nice airport suites hotel phone number attached to the Novotel arenas information. 3) when I called the phone number that was on the Google website, the individual answering the telephone (thus calling the Novotel suites Hotel) did not confirm that I was staying at the suites. 4) we were told by the Novotel suites to be at quay at the airport. We missed the shuttle the first time because the shuttle did not actually pull into the quay bay as a bus would but was on the other side of the planter in the front (but we acknowledge it was our fault for not looking in that direction). Although we were on the wrong shuttle, the shuttle driver very kindly brought us to the correct hotel. He also thought to call his suites hotel to make sure that we were not actually register their since the person at the front desk who sent the shuttle to us did not check to see that we were registered at the hotel. The hotel room was very comfortable and a good bargain. The restaurant salad bowl with "tempura fish" was an odd mix of items and was not very tasty. The fruits de mer salad had peanuts in it so tasted a bit odd. The fish soup was good. The fennel salad was good.

« Nice but may be improved a lot »

We've asked for a baby bed and they've told us there were no more available. The space in the room was not sufficient for 3 people + baby as per our reservation. The sofa-bed that was inside the room was very difficult to open and at the end we've decided to give up and to sleep on the sofa. Breakfast is very similar to what you can have at IBIS or IBIS budget at a really lower rate. In summary not a good stay with price/performance not very good in my opinion. x

« Clean hotel. »

The weather was hot and the air conditioner was not adequate. There were 5 other people in my group and they all had the same issue with their rooms. The bartender/waiter was not able to let us charge our dinners individually to our rooms and requested that we all pay cash as it was easier for him. This was an inconvenience to us.

The Hotel is very well located and has free shuttle from both terminals, attentive staff and nice rooms size. The restaurant is ok, and has a variety of foods and beverages and prices are ok for the region.Serves early breakfast in case you are leaving early as i did 6:00am.Try it next time !

Staying at the hotel was quite good, provided we were in only at night time. However I am VERY UPSET with online check-in, when I was charged 120 euro upon inserting all the information WITHOUT prior notice and with no account of full prepayment for the stay. Also I still have no information on when and how much will be returned to my bank account.

Room was average - there were 4 of us staying and I don't think the arrangements were sufficient. The bed provided for the children was extremely poor. The breakfast the next day was very poor, the staff "welcoming" us were rude and unhelpful despite us arriving well within the timings.

« Great short stay »

We stayed at the Novotel Arenas - Nice, in between flights from Singapore to UK. Good soundproof rooms, comfy beds, and more spacious than most of the hotel rooms in Nice. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed the fresh fruit. The staff was really great and went out of their way to help us. Shuttle to and from airport is a blessing. Close to bus stop going to Nice old town. Thank you Novotel for a great stay!!!

Room was clean, the rollaway bed I requested was not in room at arrival and when I called to inquire, was told all rooms were booked and none were available even though my reservation was booked months in advance.
