The breakfast was awfull. Nothing at all. No eggs no ham no bread. A group of South American people obviously ate everything before us. I was really pissed off given the 15 euros I paid for.

Very fine. I was very happy to get a good rate and have the family of 5 in 1 room. The room was a bit small but I can't complain since we were all together, and for 1 night was perfect. It is always a pleasure to have the breakfast @Novotel. Nice choice. We were very happy.

The hotel was good facilities for the kids as well. Staff very freindley, beeackfast good , but the restaurant very bad and expensive. When i come back i checked treep adviser some customers sheer same view.

Having stayed at the Novotel Bordeaux Lac several times before I knew the hotel well. Check-in was quick and efficient and I had an excellent room. Breakfast is always a highlight of my stays there and this was up to the usual high standard. Overall an excellent stay.

We had a good experience of staying at Novotel Bordeaux Lac. My compliments on your staff training in particular at your reception desk - Abdel was attentive and very welcoming. In the restaurant Alex was helpful in very request we made. If there is just one complaint, if staying for more then two nights which we were, the restaurant menu was limited. However this apart to was a good stay we will use Novotel Bordeaux again.

We stayed here in July and again this week and found that the same problems experienced on our previous visit were still there.The staff are always excellent but the restaurant is terrible. In July I put the bad service and quality of food down to holiday season temporary staff and maybe lack of a chef but it is still the same.Cold food, expensive deserts that were a few spoons of sponge in the bottom of a coffee mug. Only 6€!Breakfast we were told finished at 10.30 but we found the buffet being cleared away at 9.50.No information in the rooms so you have to call reception. English TV programmes don't work in many instances.I did post a negative review in July but found that it disapeared after a few days!Better news for Accor hotels is that the next night I stayed at the Mercure in Rouen and the food was exceptionally good. The best we have eaten in an Accor establishment in over 12 years!

There was a room above us who had checked in late apparently, and were making all sort of sounds and noises till 3.30 am in the morning. We called the front desk three times, and the best they could do for us, was to move us at 12.30 am in the morning, which was totally unacceptable. We had planned a long drive to Spain the following morning, and had to do this with only a few hours of sleep. All we got the next morning from the front desk was "Sorry"!

There is still a penetrant smell in the air, strong chemicals used for cleaning? It is awful! The breakfast offer is somewhat poor, the room to westside was very warm, air-condition out of service, the tresor did not accept a keycode following the manual though standing properly open and there was too little water pressure in the shower. The shower shows some black fungi.

Large and comfortable room in a great location. The only suggestions I would have are at least one bar soap in the bathroom as I don't like the all-purpose squeeze bottle.

« Rooms and restaurant pleasant . Reception behaviour highly dependant on the staff present each time »

Reception needs training. Some of the associates lack willingness to serve the costumers. Not even a good night when arriving after a tiring day. Unaccurate info about the tramway tickets purchase and info about the nearest stop. Music in the restaurant was repetitive, loud and not for easy listening. Elevator capacity is unappropiate ( small and unique) when there is some people accumulation ( breakfast time or groups arrival/ departure) Location is somewaht far from the city but we knew it. The surprise was that the tramway service was not up to expectations ( very crowded, lack of Air conditioning )
