I travel frequently and need accomodation in central locations in the cities of Switzerland (for professional reasons) and was very happy to find the IBIS Centre in Lausanne, only a 10min walk away from my assignment location. I arrived later in the evening and the staff was very kind. I even got an upgraded room and was happy it was quiet. I travel by car due to all the luggage and equipment I carry for professional reasons, so I was more than happy to have a parking space (though the number of parking spaces in the garage are limited - and be careful: the ceiling of the underground garage is low).

The hotel is well placed for transport, on bus routes and short walk to the Metro. The room was comfortable and well fitted out. Breakfast offered a good buffet choice and there was a variety of beers for later!
