Well positioned, friendly staff

I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at the beginning of August 2021 and everything was just fine. Rooms was relatively large and clean , staff very friendly and politely and breakfast was good. The hotel is well positioned - only 300 meters far away from the port. From the street the hotel is not quite impressive but overall is a true bargain - cheap, clean and well placed.1 Rooms are exactly like in pictures and the elevator ... well... is unique.

The hotel is located few meters from Canebiere and few minutes from the old port. It is not recommended to come with a car as the area is not car friendly, but you can easily park your car in parking Charles De Gaulle which is 3 minutes walking distance. The hotel has been recently renovated. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are big, much bigger than in an usual ibis styles. The breakfast is amazing, fresh orange juice, croque monsieur, very nice selection and very good quality. This hotel offers a very good value.

This Ibis has the absolute best location at the Old Port. It is across the street from Monoprix. The tram is there. The buses stops for bus #60 and #83 are a 5 minute walk by the Burger King. The staff at Ibis did everything possible to make my stay a pleasant one including advice on where to see the best sunset, where to eat the best couscous, best times to enjoy the sites. I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved It! Very quiet Room, great bed, amazing location very close to the Old Port and the main atractions (the chateau d'if ferry in the Old Port, buses to the Calanques, and the best bus ever, number 60 in the old port, that goes to every place you want in Marseille: Basílica Notre Dame, Saint Victor Abbaye, Muceum, Marseille's Cathedral). Breakfast was good, with croissant, baguette, Orange juice, great coffee, sausage, jam, ham and cheese. For improvement: some tips for tourists would have been good and maybe more cordiality in the front desk (they are very by the book). We didn't have a safe in the room and the bathroom spills a lot of water (the shower is only partially closed). Still, we had a very good night of sleep and loved Marseille with all my heart.

For a city break in Marseille we took a room in Ibis Style hotel. Affordable price, very well situated hotel in the city center near the port A lot of restaurants, terraces and stores around. Nice service at the reception and breakfast limited to a small variety of food but good quality. As summary for a city break a good location to stay with affordable price
