good location, nice wellness area, poor service

good location, nice pool/sauna/hammam. On the negative side, room are extremely dark (even after you get all lamps repaired, which is not an easy thing to get). Service overall rather inefficient, the "highlight" being the restaurant at the entrance, where you need to have reception phone the only waiter because he keeps disappearing. They have no clue about the drinks on their menu, we had to explain that long island ice tea is not just ice tea - they ended up being 3 people to make a cocktail, which in the end was not good. Housekeeping is inconsistent, most days it was very good but one person in particular was doing her job very partially (one day we witnessed the room cleaning done in 3mn, and she refused to give us water bottles while it was usually refilled daily !)

trying to contcat the hotel to check on my reservation. non of the phone numbers on google work. tried calling the other mercure hotels in Instanbul and they also cannot contcat this hotel. absolutely terrible service that this hotel makes it so difficult for customers to call them

Best otel and korhan best personel very comfortabl and clean very well thank all us all market near all activety is good frindly staff breakfast good room fresh and clean lobby large and they have starbucks

Very bad experience, not hygienic not friendly. Bad smell in the rooms. Please clean this hotel or remove your brand

What I didn’t like was almost everything. 1)Booked 2 rooms and asked for have them on the same floor. Wasn’t possible because the guy from reception told us the hotel was fully booked, which we doubt it 2)The rooms are NOT CLEAN!! not worth to have Mercure brand on the Main Street. I have taken pictures and will upload them. 3) Employee on the Thursday night reception was quite friendly. But all the others are not greeting any customer and looking mad. Be friendly folk, we paid for the service. 4) Got our first room and what happened: toilet flush doesn’t work, electricity from the room just gone. And they left the window open because someone smoked in the room but it still smells bad. After complaining 3 times same evening they decided to change the room. That was doable just for the last days. 5) someone asked bottle of water from the cleaning service. They just gave 1 bottle for a couple and asked money for the second bottle. Shame on you all from Mercure Bakirkoy. We will not choose this hotel any more.

It was brilliant. All staff were good. Particularly Mr. Korhan who is front office manager was so helpful and care of us. Cleaning was good. At breakfast we had nice conversation with Mr. Bülent. Location of hotel is fine.
