Had a most relaxing scenic family weekend everything was so peaceful perfect right from our rooms to food to activities. Checkin was very smooth n quick as I had my 2yrs old baby n we checked in at 2:30pm. Like to specially thank Helen, Walter , Priyanka, Hemant in particular n the team at Manos. A special thank u to Chef Kapil who went to help way beyond as I had a flat tyre at the resort for my car. N last special thank u to the GM Sanjay Baghi who put this all together n who has perfectly kept the resort beautiful, scenic n nature bound. Will definitely see u guys again we loved everything n was a perfect weekend treat

HIDDEN GEM, WORTH A VISIT

Mercure Goa Devaaya Resort, Divar Island; is a hidden gem in the beautiful landscape of Goa. This location rightfully proves that Goa is not only about its scenic beaches. Nestled on the quiet island of Divar - Mercure Devaaya is a luxury retreat with the warmest hospitality extended to their guests. Devaaya is like second home to us. The place is beautiful but the people there make all the difference. Warm, kind and ever so hospitable. So very ably led by Mr. Sanjay Pagi who is always there for his guests. Vinod, the Sales Rep & Guest Relationship Manager is a bright young man whose compassionate nature makes him a wonderful person to know. Amit, restaurant and banquets manager is very efficient. To top it all, Chef Kapil and his talented chefs make it a point that you have a treat every time you are at the meals. From the front office staff to housekeeping, everyone is extremely soft spoken and very welcoming. We have witnessed weddings too at this property, and recommend this property for large group gatherings/weddings/events. They will make sure that you have a celebration of a lifetime.

We stayed 3 nights at this Very luxurious hotel with pool and sumptuous breakfast included Recommend the boat trip and Extremely helpful staff member George who arranged all oyr taxis and everything we needed Highly appreciated and recommend

Tranquility (not quite at its best)

Just stayed at this resort for 3 nights as a treat. Idyllic position beautiful villa room with great balcony overlooking the River. 3 restaurants , all with the same menu ? Curries obviously pre cooked as could not cook me a chicken rogan josh although mutton roman josh was on menu ?. 2nd day of our stay whilst having breakfast some sort of maintenance work started very near to the pool area. The banging did not stop till after sunset. I went to reception to express my disappointment and ask for a manager. Unfortunately the manager was unable to find me although there were very few guests. When I went looking for the manager the next morning he did appear. Just shrugged off my complaint that the previous day had been totally spoilt by the noise. Upon check out there was no resolution to my complaint. So as far as I see it they just didn't care. If I had been informed of maintenance work I would not of booked. I will be staying at other mercure hotels during my trip , I hope they will show more consideration. Finally please do not respond to this review with an apology, because you clearly did not care. Lovely place to stay but beware of uninformed maintenance.
