Lunch at El Almacén is always good. Specializing in unique cuisine with a Latin American twist, it has the best food in Medellin. Open 6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. (breakfast) and then 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Broken Glass in hotel room. Be careful

Well I tried to avoid writing this but the hotel has not given me much choice. I’m still staying here and at this point I have to pursue legal action for their negligence. I’ve stayed here before and had no issues and it was actually great. So I expected this stay would be the same. It’s actually been the complete opposite. I checked Into my room and it seemed very clean. I was surprise at 10 pm at night to place my feet meet my bed and was hit with a shard of glass on my left food. I immediately started gushing out blood and had to take a taxi to get first aid in a foreign country. When I called the front desk when it initially happened NO ONE seemed to care of even offer first aid to my wound or even offered to clean it up of have the glass cleaned; even to clean my room. I was so tired after having to look around for first aid at a 24/7 pharmacy that I had took a hotel towel and tried to clean up multiple pieces of what seemed to be a broken glass prior to my stay. I next morning I spoke to a manager ; however nothing was done and was just offered to move my room. When I came back from a appointment no one knew about my room change so I just dropped it and just wanted to leave the hotel as my stay was non refundable. My trip was ruined as my cut hindered my walking and I tried to make the best of the situation. Its day 3 and no still has tried to remedy the situation especially when I have asked to speak with the GM numerous times. Please use extreme caution when booking at this hotel. Although staff is nice, doesn’t excuse their negligence in emergency situations. NOT OKAY.

Novotel was an amazing experience. The front desk staff was very helpful with check in and was immediately to assist when we had questions about tours later on in our stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Many amenities: pool, gym , Pilates studio, spa, and restaurant. The extra wow factor is all the activities that are connected to the hotel such as the amusement park for children, the stores, additional food choices, and the city/mountain views. I can rave great things all day about my stay. Don’t wait, book today

Centrally Located in El Tesoro Mall

A very conveniently located modern and comfortable hotel in the El Tesoro Mall and through the third floor you can go directly into the mall, good food options in the hotel restaurant and lots of options in the breakfast buffet. Small but well stocked gym and a great spa.

Fabulous Novotel

This place is one of the finest hotels I've ever had the great good fortune to book a few nights. The buffet breakfast is seemingly endless. You want it, it's here. The neighborhood is high-end, lots of BMWs and Mercedes. The rooms, especially bathrooms are immaculate. I didn't want to leave.

Nice but they have problems

Nice hotel in a great area but they have problems. When we checked in the access control for the rooms didn’t work. Because the phones didnt work either we had to go to the desk every time we wanted to get back in our room. The bar/ Restaurant wouldn’t serve us because the pos wasn’t working. They wouldn’t even manually write down our order and charge the room later. We couldn’t make coffee in the room because the coffee maker was broken. At 7:30am the jack hammer started for their construction project. That was a nice way to wake up. We ask for a late check out (we were on the VIP level) and they said NO even after all of the issues we had.
