Had a great time in raffles. Lots of snorkeling, relaxing and plenty of fine dining. I stayed for nights and from day one i have experienced excellent, attentive service from the resort’s team, especially our great butler Liza. They inquired about our requirements before hand to cater for all our needs. Especially us being from the middle east the staff were very attentive for our needs of privacy, hence appointing a female butler for us. Everything was in the room before we arrived. The check in was smooth and easy inside our villa. no need to go to reception anymore, that is a plus in my book. The villas are bigger than other resorts in went to before. Its will equipped and we experience nothing but luxury. We stayed 2 nights beach pool villa and 2 nights at sunset water villa, Both amazing. The only thing which i could honestly criticize is the lack of a buffet style breakfast and the quality of food in all resturant. You could find some dishes of good quality but some also are not satisfactory to describe them. The coffee was below average. Also, activity ( pool , pingpong table… etc ) would have added greatly to fun factor of the resort. To sum up, this our best maldivian resort we experienced so far. The only thing that we didn’t enjoy was the food which is a big factor if you ask me.however, what made our trip much more enjoyable is the excellent and very professional service provided by the resort’s team, especially butler Liza and resort manager snow. Both are wonderful people and professionals. Can’t thank them enough for making my trip this time a memorable one.

This was an our first visit to Raffles. The experience was fabulous. The team was very warm and caring. From the minute we stepped our feet on the Island, we were embraced as part of the family. My two daughters had a blast with the staff who pampered them in every possible way. The team at Raffles created an unforgettable moment for my eldest daughter celebrating her birthday in style both in the restaurant and in the villa. They kept the best for last and for sure created a special place for the resort and for them in her heart. She already asked me to celebrate her next birthday at the Raffles in the Maldives! A special thanks to our amazing butler, Kauther who was like our shadow in every step we made,, to Mizyan at the restaurant who always welcomed us with a smile, to Shain who ensured that we were very well fed, for Abdu who befriended my youngest and Ali and for everyone else that I didn’t get their names right

everyday in raffles is nice，the good weather is nice and our buttler nattu is nice too，also I like the good snorkeling of this island，un hopefully the water Villa is full that we can't to live in water Villa. maybe next time I go here will have a try

Easter in the Maldives

Our 15th trip to the Maldives has lead us to Raffles Meradhoo for the third time. We were happy to stay in a Beach Residence one more time which is a truely amazing hideaway. It's supposed to be almost the highest level of privacy and space and always stunning to come back here..... Our welcome surprise was overwhelming (photo). We have never had something like that in the Maldives! Stunning!!! Thank you very much for making our arrival so special. Since our last visit Raffles has established a kids club - "Faru". This is a great thing for families and though it's small it delivers a good service and entertainment for the kids. Of course due to the size of the island you cannot expect an outside splash park or something like that but the kids have been very happy. The new Chef has developed the Firepit restaurant very well. It used to be a sleepy place and now it's a lively spot with live cooking, good food, fun...... we have enjoyed it very much - a very significant improvement! They even have a kids corner there so the kids feel very special at the buffet dinner...... really really good and appreciated! Housekeeping flawless..... We had been on the island on Easter and it was very nice what they have offered for the children..... easter egg searching, easter program at the kids club...... very funny! Raffles is a very special place that might not be for everyone while for others it's simply paradise. Please come if you: - value privacy, private villa indoor and outdoor space and a small intimate island with a kind of family atmosphere on the island - enjoy snorkelling at a quite healthy reef with plenty of fish - enjoy diving in a less developed area of the Maldives if you don't mind ambitious rates for diving - look for a small island AND kids club together which is not always easy to combine - like an island without water villas (these "ocean pearls" are only reached by boat from the main island Please don't come if you: - need an all inclusive holiday - look for the prettiest beach in the Maldives (this is not the USP of Raffles) - want to surround the island on foot without swimming here and there - look for a smooth and quick transfer from Male - we are quite far down in the south here We would love to come back once more in the future.

Spent 5 nights at the wonderful Raffles Maldives, the over water villa was very spacious and among the best I’ve stayed at anywhere. Being a smaller island resort I enjoyed the calm nature of it and the excellent service and detailed attention to our needs. A special mention to our “Legendary” Butler Liza, she made sure our trip ran as smooth as possible and catered professionally to all our needs, even took us on a snorkelling tour of the in house reefs which were breathtaking. Just a wonderful experience overall, Thank you Raffles Maldives!
