Well located hotel with run down rooms in need of renovation

We stayed for 4 nights. On entering the rooms we were surprised to see the carpets had a worn look and requested for a change of room. We saw many rooms but all were in the same condition. The person handling the check in said we could take refund since all their rooms were in similar condition which we felt was rude. Since it was late we decided to take the best of worst room after a brief reiki. Very few vegetarian options at break fast, however the hotel staff was kind enough o make special preparations. The positives of the hotel is the location and view from the balcony.

Lived here from 2014 through 2019 in a Duplex apartment, have to say it’s the most comfortable stay anywhere I have worked around the World. Amenities, food, drink and staff were fantastic. Staff became almost friends in the way I was treated, fantastic people fantastic place.

People work in the reception and the Lalezar restaurant does not understand English, very low communication skills Worst experience in the restaurant Not recommended at all Servants who served us were very arrogant and did not understand English

How to transform bad impression to appreciation - story of the excellent customer service and problem resolution

Initial impression about this place was disappointing. I was going for a business trip for 3 week and just needed a good and comfortable place to sleep. No noise, no discomfort, soundproofed enough for a good sleep. Comfortable, cosy and clean. I have specially booked the garden view room to minimise outside noise. I have no interest in gorgeous lobbies, SPA or whatsoever. Just a little comfort. And I was quite surprised with the beginning of my stay: room floor was dirty, balcony door was not able to fully close, so you are hearing the street as you are in it. Cherry on the pie was the diesel power generator located right under my windows that was enabled at 5:30 in the morning in the first night. Second night - some street racers decided to practice outside I guess. Third night I bought the earplugs but they did not helped. Neighbours was quite loud, plus diesel generator started to work again around 11 pm when whole hotel lost power….Next day, completely exhausted I decided to finally tell reception about everything hoping that they at least can clean the carpet right. And I have received the warmest and fastest response possible. I was immediately offered another higher class room that was shown to me with a customer satisfaction manager. Next day all my belongings had being transferred there and when I returned from work I found a compliment from the hotel. Next day they even left me a nice letter checking if all is OK and if I am satisfied. And I finally am. Room was perfect, no sounds from the street or whatsoever. I was finally able to have so much needed rest after 12 hours working days in the office. That is indeed the excellent example of customer complains resolution and building a good relations for the future. Someone will recommend this hotel for the location, some for very nice, big and stunning lobby, some for the food - all is quite perfect and beautiful. Probably worthy of the “luxury” name, but I can honestly recommend the place for true caring and willingness to do all that is in theirs power to satisfy a customer. BTW, they assured me that my old room 604 will be fully re carpeted. Please, check if you will stay there.

Unpleasant the AC are set for very hit and you can't modify them the only solace the windows to balcony wont open. Half of the staff doesn't understand english. While its a good looking building but services are terrible. I am posting a videi how they tried openning the window.
