Check in was relatively quick, and our room’s view was exceptional. Being a platinum member in accor group i had the opportunity to try their executive lounge as well, which served delicious scallops on mondays. Breakfast was good too, Definitely will be back the next time. Couldn’t’ say the same for Fairmont which was just beside it though.

Rhea, Laurence and the team on L65 amazing at the Stamford Hotel 3 day stop over.

What a Fabulous Hotel and the lovely Rhea, Laurence and L65 team were fantastic!!! Central to many sites and transport handy. There is a mall attached with eateries and nice shopping. Service was amazing as were the views to Marina Bay Sands and surrounding. On arrival ( as Accor members) we received a beautiful large fruit bowl , a welcome card and a bottle of wine. Our suite had a double deck to stand out on and we were able to watch the light show each night from there. The king size bed was very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were a plus. 😃 Our Accor status and room allowed us use of the Club room on level 65 which we couldn’t rate highly enough. The food range was extensive with hot and cold options, snacks, drinks ( inc alcohol). The lovely Rhea, Laurence and L65 team were fantastic!!!

The magnificent Executive Lounge at Swissotel The Stamford, Singapore

We recently enjoyed a two night stopover in Singapore at Swissotel The Stamford. One of the highlights of our short stay was supper and drinks in the Executive Lounge overlooking the lights of Marina Bay and the city. The views were amazing, there was a great selection of food (the best we've seen in a Lounge for years) and cold drinks, but best of all, CHEARY and RODRICK delighted us with their attentive friendly service and smiling happy banter. Two nights in the Lounge at Swissotel The Stamford wasn't long enough, we're already thinking about a longer return visit. Very highly recommended.

It was lovely to return here after 20 years. I booked a high room with harbour view and it was well worth it. Such a lovely room and helpful kind staff. My boys enjoyed the towel animals left by housekeeping 🥰Thankyou 😊 looking forward to returning hopefully next year.

I am not sure why my review was deleted. TWICE! Hopefully, third time lucky. Stayed in Swissotel The Stamford for 4 nights in end Jan and early Feb to take advantage of the suite night upgrade compliments of ALL Platinum membership. Staying in the Swissotel suite was one of the best hotel stays I ever had. The suite room offers views of BOTH Marina Sands and the heartlands of Singapore. In fact Johor Bahru was visible on clear days. Besides, suite guests are allowed access to the Executive Lounge, which I fully utilised during the stay. Suite guests can have breakfasts and evening drinks, which, in fact was dinner, at the Executive Lounge. Speaking about breakfast, Swissotel guests are spoiled for choice. There are 4 restaurant options namely Clove, Prego the Italian-themed restaurant, the fully halal certified Asian Market Cafe, and of course the Executive Lounge. I tried all save for Prego, which had a visible queue to enter while I was there. Food was never an issue in Swissotel. In fact I didn't have to find meals elsewhere and I gained weight during the stay. Oh, did I mention about the view? It was marvellous. Being in one of, if not, the tallest building in the area, the suite room and the Executive Lounge offers the best bird's eye view of central Singapore. Being so close to the historical centre of Singapore, it was easy to explore the area. City Hall MRT station is just beneath the hotel, so mobility wasn't an issue. It was a great stay and looking forward to next Singapore trip.
