It has taken me nine months to get around to writing this review. The first probem was that we did not receive a welcoming email from the hotel in the days prior to our arrival. The second problem was that the entrance to the hotel is not easy to find. It happens to be down a badly signposted cul-de-sac and is not visible from the main road. The third problem was the fact that we went out to the pokies and when we returned, our room key would not open the door to the foyer, so we had to wait outside until a cleaner made their appearance in the foyer and we were able to attract their attention. It appears that there is no night manager as we tried ringing and there was no response. Then, we had a sleepless night due to noisy air conditioning. Spoke to the manager about these and other concerns and received a small discount and a change of rooms - thank you. As a 20 year member of ALL I expected better.

Stayed here for work - a few issues, dirty stained carpets, luke warm water -couldn’t take a shower and found someone else’s bandaid in the bed, only valet parking at $40 per day otherwise you need to park in the street. Will choose somewhere else next time.

Mid week lovers sesh We had a fantastic time away Room was comfortable Shower is good So many things to do in Geelong Great view we had too. We ordered food from elsewhere The weather was great too Got a few souvenirs Accidental left my magnet on the fridge in our room.

Good venue for conference, business function

We attended a conference at this Novotel. There was finger food, drinks and dinner. We felt that the staff were professional and friendly, and the quality of the finger food was better than normal business function venue food. A bit of effort was obvious, hand made items instead of the usual frozen and reheated fare common at other venues.

Short but Sweet, with exceptional service

Just a fleeting overnight stay in order to catch the Spirit of Tasmania early in the. morning after a 10 hour drive. BUT... what a fantastic welcome. The room was great, bed comfortable and bathroom fantastic. We also had THE best meal at the restaurant.
