An amazing hotel and the location is perfect. Gustavo,(concierge)was friendly and helpful. A special mention to Cesar, who we booked through the hotel to take us to Tolotongo falls and springs was amazing! He was very fluent in English and knew a lot about the history of Mexico City. I would recommend using him. The only negative I would say was I wish more of the staff understood/ spoke English. It was at times difficult to communicate with them.

Excellent experience. The staff was so attentive, welcoming and great attention to detail. The room was spacious and clean. The pool stunning, especially at sunset. The spa was fantastic. Balta was a delicious breakfast. One of the best hotel experiences I had. Definitely recommend.

The last week I stayed at this hotel and the experience was amazing. The Front Desk team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We met Jany Vega during breakfast and we shared with her that all the team at Front Desk, Bellman and Concierge were very helpful. From the moment we arrived everyone was welcoming, Charly at the entrance and Maria Jose and Daniela at the check in, also Gina was so kind and pending of our requests. This is one of the best hotels.

I am going to make this review very simple and objective - Cons - - probably the worst customer service you will experience across any Sofitel property. The staff do not seem adequately trained and lack the general finesse you expect from a hotel charging 600 usd a night. - it is probably the only hotel in the world where eggs are not included as a part of the breakfast buffet, they make you pay for it separately and the general service over breakfast is terrible. - you have to change 2 elevators to get to your room, I find this extremely annoying as there are long waits and it is generally irritating to do so. - there is no turn down service (only Sofitel in the world that does not offer it). The one night we requested for one, the housekeeping staff simple replaced the towels in the bathroom and left without touching the bed or anything else. Pros - - good location - decent size room, but not the best build quality. I have been an Accor Platinum member for a number of years, also gold and generally stay at a number of their hotels. Save your money and book something better for this price! I am sure St. Regis, Four Seasons have no such issues!

Kids friendly hotel

If you have kids you have to stay here, everyone was pending about every little detail so that our stay went perfect The staff in the 36th floor even organized a treasure hunt for our kids. Natalia and her team did everything to make them happy, thanks Natalie as well
