Modern facility perfectly located in a big shopping center(can exit from L2) in the heart of Suwon. Subway & big supermarket, gourmet food court, even tourist info center next to hotel entry! Very professional staff , helpful & perfect English. Room was spotless & modern. Airport bus across the road and street food markets as well. Short taxi or bus to fortress/old town or about 20 mins walk. Fabulous & great value!

Comfortable Stay

Stayed here for 2 weeks for work. Extremely convenient location with the metro station just below it. The hotel connects to the AK mall and theres easy access to the Lotte mall nearby. The surrounding area is full of cafes, restaurants and shops, is very walkable. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff are very kind, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good. Decent gym. Overall a great place to be based if you want to explore Suwon.

It is the weaknesses that make for an unpleasant stay

Let me first say that not everyone will feel the pain that we did at this hotel. The food was good, the room was very good as well. The real problems at this hotel start outside the front door of the hotel and continue to the front desk. There is no assistance at the front of the hotel. Taxis do not pull up to the hotel and there was never anyone to help you get into the hotel. I do not know why. The hotel, in my case, did not have anyone get you a Taxi they said - go down the street and get in the taxi line. Bizarre at best - unprofessional at worst. Call me a cab, hail one down outside - but send me down the street with my luggage. You do not deserve the four stars you have. Finally, do not go to the front desk and ask questions. They are generally not equipped to answer. An easy question like where is a very good Korean restaurant - was met with a blank. We were sent to a district without a name of a restaurant. There were other questions asked of the front desk and generally we were given back unhelpful information or no information. Hire a concierge team to actually provide information that is helpful. Do not know why this was a problem. I would suggest that there has to be better hotel staff at other hotels.

Minor annoyances add up. Still not bad.

We stayed one night only. First, the room is cozy, but mostly well laid out. Plenty of pillows and the mattress was good. The linens were clean. The AC worked well. Plenty of closet space and hangers. The lobby was nice and well staffed. The staff spoke English well. The location is close to shopping, transportation and restaurants. We did not eat in the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. This was a nice hotel with a couple of REALLY annoying issues. They have a USB connection, but the location is such that you can't use it unless you have a long cable, at least 3 feet. They have three charging cables, pretty cool, except that when you leave your room it shuts off power so you can't leave stuff charging. The toilet is in a tiny enclosed space that is too small. Getting up or sitting down means bumping into the walls. 6 inches more, and there is space for that, and this would be a solid 4 star review.

Service was excellent although only a few staff spoke English but they tried. Cleanliness is good and the link through to the station convenient. Only let down was a small gym area. It’s location to nearby area made this venue fantastic the ambiance of the hotel was very chic too
