Reasonably priced average accommodation

Pros: Close to city centre and buses Very reasonably priced Comfortable bed Cons: No couch or seating unless you count a fouton which is 1/2 foot off the floor. Totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Housekeeping hit and miss. Great first day then went downhill from there. The lady didn’t understand English and it was wait and see as to whether we had clean towels, bed made or kitchen tidied. Loud screaming from pubs, nightclubs near by.

$200 for cleaning a hot chocolate spill.

Staff were very welcoming. The room was ok , no room service or dishwasher. We did have to walk abit for the carpark as hotel couldn't cater for a medium size SuV. We got charged $200 by the hotel because they cleaned a hot chocolate spill. If you do stay make sure you don't spill anything and for a self contained room you can't wash your cloths and no dishwasher.

Terrible not only location but also the room. The room was extremely small, the bed was super soft and saggy, two pillows on the bed one was very flat other was bulky. The bathroom was old apart from the sink and the shower felt like one from a demountable no tiles. Room service was done but no beds made Very unsafe location with lots of homeless around

Recently stayed at Mercure Wellington Central City Hotel and Apartments. We noticed that the hotel does not take any responsibility for lost or damaged luggage left in their care. This is totally unacceptable. Please refer to photos of the label given when luggage left in storage. Location was good, staff friendly, however the hotel needs some serious renovations and repairs.

Excellent staff, great accommodation 🙂

We arrived to the hotel by uber so didn't have parking issues! Hotel is great and staff are wonderful 👏 We walked everywhere. Our room was serviced everytime we put the service sign on the door. We are staying here for 21 nights. So far everything is going great. We also have booked morning buffet breakfast and it's delicious 😋 We will definitely come back here in the future. Thank you to all the staff from Mercure Hotel Wellington for your great service ❤️
