Location is great. Hotel has a luxurious feel to it and the lobby + areas are beautifully designed. Breakfast was up to Sofitel-standards (in other words: great). Upgraded the room proactively because of the Platinum status. Room was spacious. However the service aspect really needs improvement. Contacted the FO beforehand as it was my partners birthday. Assured me they would arrange something. Nothing was there. Asked for it, no record of it but they would take care of it. Again, nothing happening. Finally late at night after asking for it 4 times and waiting a long time they delivered a bottle of sparkling wine. Obviously, I do not expect them to do something, but communicating they will arrange something special gives a certain sense of expectation. Also the corridor smelt like weed but this is nothing the hotel can help. Service at breakfast could use improvement too as we had to wait 20 minutes (and had to ask twice) for the coffee and tea. Also had to wait a very long time until we could order some a la carte food. In general I would recommend, but by far not one of the best sofitels I had.

Best start for a Germany holiday

Our first family holiday in Germany. Frankfurt was the starting point before driving to the Black Forest. Great 5 star service with very friendly staff. Good recommendations for sightseeing and shopping right next to the hotel. Thank you very much

The hotel is centrally located. Rooms are spacious. Staff goes out of the way to help you. It’s room service and house keeping is spot on. Stefan the GM is there to welcome guests and attend to their issues if any. A charming personality. Philippee at concierge would be more than happy to help you with whatever you want. The bell boys are smiling and ready to extend any kind of help. I would not look anywhere else if in Frankfurt. Full 5 stars

I had a tremendous stay with the speed of entry to the room, expert reception, fast elevators, room cleaning, room quality, silence, sufficient and quality breakfast and dinner and sincerely smiling staff. Last word, you are wonderful..

Sofitel Hotel provided Superb customer service! A Beautiful Hotel. In the Heart of Frankfurt. Close to all attractions, restaurants and activities. In addition I must name some incredible staff: Anne, Travel Advisor, Mrs Lopez, Any problem was no problem, George, Always smiling. Do anything for the Guest. Amelia, Waitress. Was charming and sometimes funny!! IMPORTANT: Hotel focuses on cleanliness.
