Basic decent hotel with easy access to city

A basic but decent hotel which is perfectly situated close to the old town. We had a 3rd floor room at the front from which we enjoyed people watching. The room was basic but we didn't mind as all was in order and clean. Excellent shower. Comfy bed. It was quiet in the hotel itself. The street noise never bothers us. (We take earplugs). Loved the breakfast time being until midday so we didn't feel rushed. Food was of good quality, plenty of it, good choice and set us up for the day. Staff always helpful. Bus stop to Botanical Gardens over the road and down from the museum. Bus from Marina to El Palo and Pedregalejo. Many BQ fish restaurants. We got lost going to Automobile Museum as tourist map not helpful! Train C2 to Alora. Loved sitting in the square, the walk to castle etc. This is our 4th visit to Malaga. Would return to this hotel and recommend it. No tea/coffee but we are elderly and British so brought our own! One negative: No safe in the room.

Good place to stay while in Malaga. I am a light sleeper so staying in the busy Malaga Centro is not my first choice. Great that I could find this hotel! I slept like a baby and it is also right beside the huzzle and buzzle but not into it. Descent breakfast.

Little space to put anything in the room

We have stayed here previously and been very happy, but recently there has been a refit in the rooms and now there is totally inadequate storage space. The desk has been replaced by a small round table. The wooden wardrobe has been replaced by a metal frame with a few hangers and four small flat discs. The bedside tables have been replaced with very small round ones. We had to keep most of our stuff in our suitcases as there was so little space to put anything.

This was a very good hotel to stay in. The location was excellent, right across the bridge from the old part of town. It was also a short walk from the subway stop from the airport. Staff extremely helpful and provided good advice and directions by email for getting there from the airport. Breakfast was ample / good variety, and especially good bread, other baked goods, and coffee. Had eggs, cold cuts, cereal. Rooms were small but cleaned every day. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it.

A comfortable place to stay near the centre of Malaga. We went in to see the wonderful Xmas lights and stayed one night. They have an underground car park which costs e11.50 per night. Rooms are warm and comfortable. The shower is great. Breakfast costs E10 per person and is good value. As much as you can eat and a great selection.
