As frequent business traveler over the last 30 years, Sofitel in Cairo will always be on the top of my list. Unmatched service by the friendliest staff ever and superior rooms with a stunning view makes every stay there unforgettable. The proximity to the river Nile makes you feel that you literally sits on the river bank when enjoying their fabulous breakfast.

Passant at Reception is magical! She is very helpful and friendly. A big thank you for her specifically please. With the Spa, how magical. My experience was a friendly welcome with smiles everywhere. The reception lady/manager - is very very friendly - and all accommodating. The massage Indonesian ladies was very good with best massage and treatment ever! Room was clean, soft bedding, exceptional view, everything to make the stay so much more than just a hotel. Well done to all the personnel - I will definitely recommend Sofitel to all my friends and business colleagues.

Relaxed stay with view on the Nile

The big plus of the Sofitel are the terraces at ground floor with view on the Nile and central location. Despite the noisy disco boats passing by at night, I had a relaxed stay with good food and service from staff. Rooms are rather small but clean and efficient. Service is slower than we are used to in Europe but good. Just adapt to the local pace and add some extra time in your planning. The casino is a bit outdated but staff informed me an update is coming soon in a couple of months. In the club lounge I am missing relax seats or sofas. There are only chairs and tables and a very small room without view but with sofa. But smoking is fortunately separated from non smoking. I like the Sofitel and staff and will return here in the future if going to Cairo.

I visited the Moroccan restaurant, that I would appreciate Mr. Ahmad Awad from Bell Captain for his effort to do my reservation there and I was so happy that I got the best table there and the food was really delicious.. thank you Ahmad for everything you did, i had a lovely time Will sure visit again specially if Mr. Awad do all my reservations, I trust his effort and help to please us with Thanks 🙏🤍
