Possibly the worlds best ibis

We are accor all members, and try to stay in accor properties wherever possible. We understand that ibis is the lower scale hotel the group offers, and do try to stay in better brands, but this is a GEM. Every interaction with staff was great - special mention to Juan who was awesome to deal with. The bed is the usual ibis 'Sweet Bed' which makes them comfortable. Good blockout blinds, and no street noise as it's a small side road. There is a rooftop pool, which I used on a nice sunny day - a nice extra for an ibis. We happened to be here on one of the nights they do live music & flamenco - if you're invited then you should do it! Had buffet breakfast which was good for 8 euros, & hubby had dinner in 1 night - very happy for EUR12.95. Getting to anywhere is easy by taxi as there's a big road just 200 meters away or use the bus. Overall I would recommend & come back.

Temperature issues

Shower temperature continuously shifts between very hot and very cold. If you read the reviews for this hotel, you'll notice this has been happening for years. Apparently they don't care. Like many Ibis hotels they do not provide true air-conditioning unless the outside temperature reaches a certain threshold. The fact that 3 people + a dog in a small room can also get pretty hot does not matter to them. If it's cold outside, this hotel is probably fine. If the outside temperature is higher than your preferred sleeping temperature, do not book.

Originally booked two nights but extended to three. Comfy bed, quiet room & clean facilities for a good price. Parking available in their car park for a modest fee but there was space outside so we just parked on the street. It’s a 40 walk into the heart of Granada. We didn’t mind that so didn’t explore local transport. Breakfast was okay but I’d have liked more fresh fruit as it wasn’t available every day

Good place to stay

We stayed one night to see the lights. Good location, clean comfortable rooms and lovely helpful staff. Comfy beds and great shower. Easy parking Breakfast good value for money , very pleasant stay

Excellent reception Saturday morning. Lovely man at desk and allowed early checkin. He explained very well all tourist sites and helped with Alhambra information. One female staff was not very polite and unhelpful. Room had a 3rd bed and a cot and we were 2 adult guests only. We had to call to remove the cot. Room was very small and not enough table space at all. Only 1 small side table. No bin in room. NO ENGLISH TV CHANNELS AT ALL.!!! having a tv was pointless for us as we do not speak Spanish. Pillows were very very bad and lumpy!!! Need a box of tissues. Poor wifi. Breakfast and room was as expected for budget 1* hotel. Location was as expected, need taxi or car.
