Decent stay

Room was decent in size, breakfast was good. They have a microwave in the breakfast area in case you want to warm up your meals. It's right next to the metro station so very accessible. The canal is very close, nice to walk around. One of the receptionists, an old man, was really nice and shared some childhood stories with us. Right opposite there's a cute cafe with the sweetest host. He recognized we're Indians and sang a Bollywood song for us. These two men made our stay memorable.

Would rate this ZERO stars if I could. Was waiting to see how my complaint got resolved before hastily writing a terrible review but complaining has almost been worse than the stay - keeping in mind that one of our rooms had no electric upon check in. We were told we’d receive 30% of our stay back after complaining about several issues with our stay and we received £28 from a £247 stay. The hotel has replied sparingly and now is just ignoring me - including the general manager. Unbelievable - ran down hotel with barely even the basics available and staff unwilling to address issues or help. Do not stay here.

After seeing negative reviews after having booked this hotel, I arrived with dread in my heart. But I was pleasantly surprised. Reception staff super helpful & friendly. Rooms were clean & had all that was needed. Plus the softest pillows which made for a great sleep. I could not fault the hotel - staff, location or room. Don’t believe the haters!

Pretty Poor

Unfortunately have to say this was a pretty poor stay overall. We didn't have electric in our room when we checked in which did get fixed but the other room I had booked had exposed wires hanging out near several ports and the lift broke while we were in it. That would all be ok but the guy on reception had a stand offish attitude when we mentioned any of this to him. I could tell he'd clearly been dealing with complaints all day but I thought this wasn't a great way to deal with it.  Additionally I'd say the hotel maybe needs a little refurb in parts, there's a lot of wear and tear showing.

Was quite impressed with the size of the room considering it is in Paris. We have space to open our luggage bags. Quite aged but well maintained. There’s a bathtub in the bathroom. The hotel provides shampoo & body shower bath gel and bath towels. The room booked comes with breakfast. Breakfast was quite decent. I have to thank the staff for being helpful & friendly and they speak good English too
