I always try to book at Ibis when in Melbourne, but the fire alarm going off at 1.15am was extremely stressful, especially where there was no follow up communication about what had occurred,. That will be the last time i stay at Ibis.

I stayed at Ibis Melbourne Central for 3 nights and I couldn’t be happier, it’s so close to shopping, my favourite restaurant and public transport. I always stay here. The staff are lovely and very welcoming, I had to call room service for some additional towels and coffee, ordering through the QR code was so simple.

Unusual to self-check in but seamless enough. The hotel room was small but adequate, and the gym was well equipped and modern which was great. A great location, great price, would use again travelling solo. The breakfast was amazing! It is a must!
