Clean, easy check out and wonderful location. A lot of halal foods nearby which made it easy for us to get foods. However, the check in was quite confuse where we are asked to go around the corner into the Novotel Hotel reception front desk. I was skeptical at first, have to wait for the long queue and then able to check in after that.

While the location can be considered along the "red light district" of Geneva, no untoward incident happened during our 1 week stay. There's a microwave which is not typically present in the hotel rooms around Gare Cornavin, so it provided us with convenience to reheat takeaway food. Room was cleaned daily. The only con I could think of is that the check-in should be done at Novotel. It's adjacent to the place, but there's no inside connection between the two buildings. Hence, we had to go out of Novotel after check-in and go to the La Residence. However, this is compensated by a "fast check-out" where we just dropped our keycards.

A lot of noise all night long outside but also inside. The insulation is so thin, you can hear conversations. I booked a non-smoking room and the room i got was smelling like a full ashtray. It has been a long time since i had such a bad night.

While all our queen-size beds were replaced in 2019 to ensure a restful sleep, we are saddened to learn that we fell short on this occasion. We also apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to noise. Although our studios are equipped with double glazing to minimize noise from outside, it appears this was insufficient for your stay. We encourage guests to request a studio ending in 6 on higher floors for a quieter environment, and we also provide earplugs at the Novotel Genève Centre reception for additional comfort. Regarding the scent of smoke in your studio, we wish to assure you that we are a smoke-free property and will look into this matter attentively. Please be assured that cleanliness is a top priority for us, and we have a dedicated cleaning service available Monday through Friday. Your rating of our cleanliness at 70/100 is noted, and we strive to maintain the highest standards in this area. We would like to welcome you back for an improved visit in the future. There was screaming and shouting throughout the nights and I couldn't sleep. Although windows were closed but still the noise was loud and it was coming from the bar or brothel house next door. I was in Geneva for meetings and couldn't focus because I had bad sleeps the nights before.
