I dreamed of visiting this place and my dreams came true. It is MAGICAL. If you are going to Kenya, this is THE place to stay. Everyone is highly trained, professional and welcoming. The buildings are superb. The location is beyond amazing. The bar is great. The food is pretty good too. I couldn't find one thing to complain about. Seriously. Not ONE thing. Go. Have the experience of a lifetime. And stay here.

The Fairmont was unbelievable, I could not have asked for a better place to stay. My one qualm is that I found it unclear that the costly Maasai Mara Conservancy fees were not included in the nightly rates, so that ended up being an unexpected cost at check-out. Nevertheless, the incredible service and amenities made up for the extra cost. The Fairmont links you up with the same waiter, guide, and room attendant for your entire stay, which is a very nice touch. We really got to know Alex (our waiter), Moses and John (our guides), and Sammy (our room attendant) during our 4 night stay - all of whom were absolutely amazing. Gerald was also wonderful behind the bar, and the food was incredible.

There are no words to explain this experience! It was on my bucket list for a long time. The game drives, the service, cleanliness, the blend with the local culture in the Masaai village and much more. Special thanks to the most professional General Manager Stephen Keriga and his outstanding team members: Wilson, Lucy, Mary, Sammy, Bakhita and many more. A personal THANK YOU to the Chef - the food was absolutely amazing and a personalized service like no other. Cannot wait to be back! Thank you Fairmont Mara!

Stayed here for 4 nights, excellant food, friendly staff, loved the tent, bar and lounge area lacking "african" character but thats my only complaint, the grounds were lovely, Rose our waitress was excellant, had a great massage with Patience, not so many jeeps as on a reserve rather than in the national park which we prefered, would recommend

Was there for two nights on a photography safari, with guest keen on photography. The choice of going to the conservancy was the benefit of very few cars and no pressure around game sightings - As always it went perfect- we had a morning sighting of a whole lion pride walking the plains all to ourselves ! PLUS the lodge services are impeccable. The comfort will spoil you! 😎
