I haven't stayed for years. Booked 2 nights including my free night. Was upgraded to river view. I'm accor platinum level so was taken to the special check in room where I met Sarah. She is absolutely amazing, providing exceptional customer service. Was poured a generous glass of Bollinger to enjoy whilst checking in. Sarah also arranged a cheese platter fir me when I remembered I'd left some of mine at the day spa. Was also treated with chocolate and champagne delivered to my room free of charge, plus a sweets tray. Absolutely outstanding service. Enjoyed dining at breakfast. Also the Beachhouse on Hastings Street where again the service was outstanding. Flexibility given with welcome drink cards too. All staff I encountered were amazing. Jamaica also receives special mention going out of her way for me. I had an amazing weekend away and will definitely return. Keep up the great team work Sofitel Noosa. Thank you all for the perfect service.

We escaped from Brisbane for a much needed long weekend, and from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed everything was perfect. The staff at this hotel is what sets it apart from its competitors and while everyone was absolutely incredible, a few notable mentions - Mike's warm and engaging service was a great welcome after a long slow drive in traffic. He directed us straight to the car park, grabbed our bags and got them straight up to the room - check in was seamless. Tom's happy and attentive service at breakfast each morning was exceptional. He is the perfect personality for the morning shift.. bright and bubbly! The hotel is extremely well presented and very clean, and very well maintained. It is perfectly located opposite the beach and its offerings are the highest of quality. If our two young boys get their way, we will be back in the very near future!

Great buffet breakfast

We were apprehensive at first as reviews were not at all glowing. Yo our relief the buffet breakfast was great. The quality and variety was great. Egg station had lovely pre ordered omelette etc brought to your table. Fruit was full of flavour. Salad was fresh and added extras like chia seed and freshly sliced avocado was appreciated. One criti is there is no view and actually feels closed in. Too much kiddy food like kid cereals and lolly toppings not a good touch for health conscious families. Natural museli was missing but gluten-free mixture was next best. Overall a great buffet and wonderful staff that can’t do enough for you. Special thankyou to Gloria for her professional manner.

The property is in desperate need of a revamp. The rooms are tired and dated and just don’t justify the hefty price tag ($600+). This is not 4/5 star property. Positives - Lovely location with direct access to Hastings street - Good staff - Family friendly

Responded to an offer from the hotel and spent a few nights in comfort just before Easter . As usual , the staff were welcoming and very efficient , the room was excellent , and the hotel facilities commensurate with a top hotel . The only negative was the buffet breakfast which , while adequate , was unimaginative and below par for a five star hotel . Needs to improve !
