My hanging out in Nirobi: First of all it started difficulty because we had to wait 4 hours for our room after a half-day travelling - inspite we paid extra money for the hotel for these few additionally hours. On Sunday we had to wait for our breakfast 1 hour 20 minutes - for a simple breakfast, than 1,5 hour for the lunch. In the boardrum the aircondition did not worked and for the time the business partners are arrived, all of us were swetin from the hot. Our business partner who is engineer showed for the maintenance guy what the problem was, and later it turned up that the filter was dirty and totally black. One of our colleague had permanently allergic reactions. The tissue was run out and the did not refilled the box. Inspite of the hotel and the garden is nice and the meals were good I have to say that I expect much better service from a 5 star hotel. It was the worst hotel I have been in the last 10 years. In my opinion, the problem is that the work processes are not well organized and controlled. This is not because there is not enough staff, it must be a kind of attitude problem.

Amazing stay with amazing front desk team. I would like to share my appreciation to Ms. Mary and Mr. George from the front desk team. They have changed the concept of the customer service to an extra level of service. The hotel is amazing and the location is not that far from the airport.

Amazing dinner @ tatu. Steaks were made perfectly. Starter pear salad was a kaleidoscope of flavour. Great service from the chef who made a special desert to order. Elijah the waiter was excellent also. He should be a radio announcer. All round great experience. Will be back!!!!

Awfull expirience in their restaurant!

We dropped our luggage at the hotel in the morning - and they told us that they chekket us in. When coming back at 17.15 there was again a loooong waiting time. It appeared that our room was still not ready - and when we came to our room the cleaners were still there. We went to their pool - which unfortunately made white colors on swimming suits green/yellow - and the same happened with our grandchildrens white hair. This color could not be washed of. Hotel promised to give us info what to do (this documentation process involved 5 staff members and took more than half an hour) - but in spite of reminders we never received any feedback. In the evening we had a dinner in their terrace restaurant. The first hour there were more "waiters" than guests - and we had the same questions several times. We ordered 2 bottles of wine - and after 10 minutes the waiter came back with another wine as the first ordered was sold out. I said that then I assumed that we got this other wine at max the same price (it was not any of the cheapest on their list) - but reply was NO - if you want to know the price for this wine you have to scan the QR code on the table. I asked him to repeat that - and reminded him taht he was waitor at a 5 star hotel, where some service was expected - but he just repeted that he did not know the price and I should scan the Code!! As I then found out that this replaced wine was much more expensive than the original ordered wine I decided to go for a different one. The food was very poor. Pasta was cooked to dead and almost cold and some of the other dishes were also semi warm only. And by the way we (8 people) did not at all get our main course at the same time. PS : A week after our visit I wrote an Email with above Info to the Hotel - they replied taht they would investigate and answer me back, but now 3 weeks later I have heard nothing!!
