Disappointing stay at this hotel, May 2024. I had a one night stay at this hotel. The staff seemed rather disinterested. No acknowledgement at breakfast, just looked straight through me. The late evening staff did not know what a Chardonnay was?? No clean wine glasses and no attempt to find one - “ I am not bar staff”? How bizarre. The room was very small and felt quite confined. There are too many good hotels for me to rebook with this one.

We always do our best to make our guests feel welcome and can only apologise that the staff member you interacted with may have been from an agency who sometimes help us out but are not able to serve alcohol due to Scottish Licencing laws. A very pleasant stay for work. Very close to everything, the hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the city. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The hotel provides free coffee and tea, which was a nice addition. The room was spacious with a decent view.

Room very clean and tidy, bed very comfortable. Good sleep, quiet. Staff very pleasant. Good quality breakfast ingredients but unfortunately food was cold, no scrambled eggs. Great central location.

We do monitor our buffet closely and ensure food is topped up when required sometimes this may take a few minutes but unless you came down after breakfast was finished then this would be the case. Simple, very clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. We had top floor room with fabulous view of the city and beyond. Centrally situated in easy reach of everything. Fantastic restaurants nearby. Perfect for a city break.

Brilliant short stay in this hotel. A nice welcome at reception. Nice clean hotel, very cool decor. The room we had was all we needed for our stay. Everything was perfect. Again the decor in the room was spot on! No outside noise with it being very central. A 2 minute walk to the shops. Would not hesitate to return. Definitely recommend for a short stay
