Great hotel, have stayed here many times and it’s a brilliant location, nice staff and comfortable rooms. Room 236 was small and perfectly formed but lacks storage like in the bigger rooms. Great bed, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee - leaky kettle tho! Bathroom tiles could do with clean and freshen up white paint work. Will stay again - great hotel!

This small hotel was perfect for our family stay. We traveled to Berlin at the end of September because I was running the Berlin Marathon. I traveled with my husband and daughter and could not be happier with our hotel. The staff was friendly, in particular Marius at the cafe, who immediately became friends with my husband at the bar and gave us recommendations on what to do and how to navigate Berlin during our short stay. Our bedroom was small (opinion coming from an American point of view) but larger than most of the hotel rooms I have gotten in other places in Europe. Anyway, our room was comfortable and worked perfectly for the 3 of us. The rain shower was amazingly good, in particular after the marathon (felt like a rain forest) The location was great for our needs, close to shops, the park, some restaurants, the hop on and hop off bus stop, the U was right across from us and the marathon passed right in front at about mile 21/22 can’t remember exactly, so my family didn’t have to go anywhere and could see me right before I finished. Overall, our stay was awesome and I hope to be back soon!!

I’m paying more than 400 EUR per night, and even though the hotel is very nice overall and clean, it’s definitely bot worth it. In fact, I feel I’m being ripped off. It’s hard to feel comfortable because it’s too cold in the room. The heating and air conditioning are centralized, so I asked if they can increase the temperature a bit, but I was just given a “nein, tut mir Leid”.

This is a really nice hotel located directly opposite the U-Bahn which is cheap and will take you to the centre in just a few stops. For the more energetic, it’s a pleasant c35 min walk to Brandenburg Gate through the Tiergarten. Surrounding the hotel are many food options, supermarkets and kiosks. You certainly won’t be short of choice! The accommodation is comfortable with tea and coffee facilities and a fridge which was very welcome for a cup of tea after a long day of sightseeing. My room had a bath and shower which were both very nice. I was also lucky enough to bag a room with a balcony! The staff were pleasant and knowledgable - particularly helping me navigate public transport. I would recommend this hotel and stay here in the future.

Checked into this Mercure hotel recently for 2 nights. Friendly checkin staff and provided with the welcome drink. Room is very good, a privileged room which was upgraded, means the mini bar drinks are inclusive. Breakfast is very good! Especially the self service juicing machine! Location is strategic, just across the Wittenbergplatz station serves by U2. Nearby there are many shopping options too.
