We stayed at this hotel mainly for it’s location close to the railway station and as we had previously stayed here before several years ago, unfortunately time has moved on and nothing at the hotel has changed except that is now quite grubby and in need of modernising and freshening up. Considering the cost the rooms are quite small and I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel without a decent size flat screen tv. We generally do not make a habit of complaining but during our 2 day visit we had to twice as the toilet was not very clean on arrival and dirty cup replacement, My general opinion is the hotel has now become poor value for money and we will not be returning here on our next visit to Leiden.

Very good hotel very near the railway station yet not noisy. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. In fact whilst breakfast is normally from 6.30am we had an early flight so the reception staff opened up the breakfast area especially for us (2) at 5.30am. Beyond and above!

Compact, comfortable room in good location.

Very tiny room with single bed but perfectly comfortable. Shower, tv, wifi all worked fine. Helpful front desk. No problems. No complaints. Excellent location across from the train station; very convenient for day trips to nearby towns and for Schipol Airport.

Very basic- like a hostel. Adjacent to a very busy road/ bus station. Soulless place. We didn’t eat or drink there - short walk to Leiden centre which is lovely. I am sure there are nicer places for the money. Rooms were tiny and felt shabby. I wouldn’t go again.

Distinctly average rooms, expensive, check-in systems off-line on arrival (staff were apologetic and very considerate, a credit to the hotel). Both bathrooms were a bit shabby, my soap dispenser didn’t dispense, beds were fine and clean. Just very average or below, poor value
