Modern and efficient hotel but without any charm

LOCATION: The hotel is located outside any city centre, in an industrial/trade area. That implies you need a car to get there, but it can be an efficient solution if you are just looking for a place to stay relatively close to the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte and not too far from the highway. Parking on-site is free and there are a couple of chain restaurants nearby. PREMISES: fairly new and modern hotel, very efficient structure, but don't expect any charm here. SERVICE: staff is friendly and helpful BREAKFAST: sufficient choice of products ROOM: spacious, clean and efficient, no street noise at all; the bathroom was sufficiently spacious and with everything in good working order. WiFi: reliable and fast in the room and all common places OVERALL: good for a stop on route, but not a good choice for a romantic getaway

This hotel is just outside Melun. Rooms are nice and breakfast is excellent. A nice orange juice pressing machine. Good coffee. The hotel is easy accessible and close to the RN The is a supermarket next door. So if you need something for the next day.

Nice room, poor breakfast service

The room was fine but breakfast did not live up to the standard of other Ibis style hotels that we have stayed in. The breakfast area is badly designed, cramped into a small area, where it is difficult for more than three people to get what they want. The quality of service od the breakfast was also under par. There seemed to be just one man at the reception, whose job was also to keep the breakfast items well stocked, which he failed to do. A wait for orange juice, spoons, mugs, etc. Disappointing.

The rooms are large and well furnished, good beds. We slept well and that’s the most important. Plenty of closet space, large enough bathroom, separate toilet. Enough chairs, large desk, good WiFi, what else? Breakfast was fine, typical French and good staff, friendly and competent. I recommend it. Good location.

We stayed here on our way south after a couple of days at Disney with our two teenage daughters. On arriving the area around the hotel isn't the most appealing but inside is very modern and extremely clean. The family room that we had was massive and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was OK but the milk was room temperature and choice was a little limited. I would recommend it for a stop-over.
