We stayed four night at Novotel El Borge in March Both tge times we got a room with a awesome view facing Nile River. The experience with staff was very pleasant. Vereena was very helpful at the reception. One thing I would like to mention is that the hotel is located right on River Nile and is in a busy location.It can get a bit noisy at night and the windows are not sound proof

1、14天门禁卡坏了6次 2、刚到时没有转接头 3、早餐太单调 4、卫生间洗手盆下水口不密封，洗衣服太麻烦 5、退房时，莫名其妙要收842埃磅，说我点了个三明治，半个小时才确认清楚

酒店体验不错，有入住欢迎饮料。前台，安检，客房的人都很礼貌热情，房间需要牙刷、拖鞋等会及时送。房间宽敞干净，河景房可以坐屋里欣赏尼罗河景致。

Good hotel and friendly staff. Too bad for the noice

It is hard for me to give the hotel the right amount of stars. It would be 4/5 without the disco boat infront of the hotel (not from Novotel). But it would be 1/2 for the rooms facing the Nile because of the noise from the disco boat. But that would not be fair for the good quality of the rooms, location and the staff. We got a nice upgrade to a beautifull suite on the Nile. Everything was perfect till around 22:00 hour. Than the disco boat began....the noice lasted till 04.30 hour in the morning. I was awake the whole night till i asked the reception for a different room. They helped me very nicely. Compliments! The rooms on tje city side did not have the extreme noice so that room was good for us. Unfortunately all the suites are on the Nile. The breakfast was good in our opinion. We also had no problems with the Wifi or smoke in a room. It is a shame that the disco boat is there....otherwise i would come back for sure! It is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Or they should upgrade to soundproof glass etc for the suites?

The hotel was clean and upto the standards of a 4 star hotel .. swimming pool water was not warm enough my kids felt very cold within 5 min .. breakfast was not great selection , the falafel had no taste .. dinner was highly priced . We were very disappointed that they didn’t inform us the mini bar was on charge and we used it for couple of drinks and we got the bill of 1300 EGP. We felt like it was a scam . At least they could have informed us while check in .. and I’m ok to pay for whatever we drank , but again too pricey for couple of drinks ..
