The Ibis Belem Aeroporto is probably the best choice if you need to stay near Belem airport for a late arrival or early departure. Check-in counter is sometimes busy also late at night or early morning as there are passengers and crews arriving all the time , nevertheless it’s always quick and efficient. Rooms are standard Ibis rooms and are very clean. Uber from the airport is just a few minutes and is really cheap, the area around the hotel doesn’t offer much, there is a convenience store and a pharmacy in walking distance. All the staff is professional and helpful.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights with a hotel reservation. We took an Uber ($1.50) from the nearby BEL Airport, arriving here at 14:30 PM. A Portuguese-English speaking receptionist processed the Visa Payment and issued our key card. Second floor room #276 had the practical predictable layout we expect from the Ibis hotel chain and this one is nearly ideal with a comfortable large double, shelf unit and closet with refer, desk/counter with chair, small couch and fully outfitted bathroom/shower with hot water. Our clean compact room had good room WiFi, cable TV with CNN and an over-sized AC unit that produced humidity. When heavy moisture began to build up on the floor, we called maintenance and were moved next door to room #278 where the AC worked fine. The 6:30 AM breakfast buffet in the lobby restaurant had juices, fruit, yogurt, breads, scrambled eggs, cheese, meats, cereals, cakes and a modern coffee selection machine. We also enjoyed an excellent lunch; Spaghetti Bolognaise and Fish Dinner with 1 beer($14). We walked 600 m NW to the large Supermercado Du Bairro. This older hotel has a great airport transit location and is a good value at $50 US per night.

Back to Belem after a break of more than 4 years. Ibis Hotel Airport had been upgraded and it is much nicer than before. The lobby is clean and bright. The rooms felt newer and cleaner. The restaurant is more crowded although the food is below average. However breakfast was good. Overall a great stay

This place is close to the airport, but the area it's a little be dangerous, so be aware. The staff is good. The breakfast is quite good as well as. The room is ok, but is not cozy. The washroom could be better. Anyway, for short stay, it's nice.
