Basic hotel, but clean and well-located. Staff lovely. Breakfast good. Room too hot and air conditioning/fans not available when we visited. Easy to get to from airport and walkable to central Prague. Restaurants and bars close to the hotel inexpensive. Would recommend.

Terrible Hotel

Extremely basic hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights with a friend. The rooms are tired and need updating, the beds are not comfortable at all even the pillows are rubbish. We hardly slept due to the temperature in the room and we were unable to open windows due to street noise. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, never saw a staff member smile. The breakfast was obsimal!! I know ibis are budget hotels but I was honestly shocked by this one....the only positive thing about our stay was the location.

I've stayed in this hotel quite a few times now,love it ,love the location and the staff here was really friendly. We are currently in Prague for a 10 day holiday, we chose this hotel again,booked in straight away ,alocated room on 3rd floor,a twin bedded room ,room was cosy,lots of storage space ,comfortable beds ,flat screen tv and bathroom was spotlessly clean, breakfast was really good, a big choice of hot and cold items, bar was good ,the beers from Pilsner Urquell Brewery superb,location could not be better ,an area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants, great transport links as well ,loved our stay ,only one downside when we visited was the hordes of Italian teenage school kids ,out of control, teaches doing nothing to control them ,total nuisances but that was the only blip on what was another great stay in this hotel in this amazing city.

The Ibis Hotel Mala Strana is a really good Ibis hotel in the Smíchov area of Prague on Plzeňská and this is were we stayed on our ten day holiday in Prague. A brilliant hotel thats located in a fantastic area of Prague where there are many pub bars and restaurants.The Ibis Hotel has an excellent look and feel with a nice bar and reception areas.The room we had was well appointed and spotlessly clean with a nice shower.The room we stayed in (324) in here was spacious and clean.The breakfast was excellent and varied and the staff were 1st rate. All in all an excellent hotel thats well priced and located in a brilliant area and if you're looking for a budget friendly hotel that's in a superb area then this is the hotel for you. So easy to find from the bus/metro or tram stops at Anděl its a short walk away.(This is my 1st review of the Ibis Hotel Mala Strana). Public Transport. Bus Stop. Anděl Bus Stop-123-167-901-904-907-908. Metro Stop. Anděl Metro Stop Line-B-(Yellow Line). Tram Stop. Anděl Tram Stop-03-04-05-07-09-10-12-15-16-18-20-21-22-94-98-99.

The hotel is located in a perfect location: 20 minutes by tram from the old town and 50 minutes by bus from the airport. Tram link connections and Andel tube are just around the corner. The hotel itself is exactly what to expect from Ibis: clean, safe, comfortable bed and pillows.
