Not sure how low are the standards of people who gave this property 4-5 stars but this is a pretty low-quality hotel that should be for emergency purposes only. You will sleep in a closet that has a window with a sink next to your head, paper-thin walls, no validated parking, and good luck finding it the first time as there are signs for Raddison, but not Ibis in the parking lot for some reason.

Budget Stay at its Finest

Overall: If you need a pit stop for your luggage and a clean place to sleep comfortably at night, then this is as basic as it gets. If you want to enjoy scenic views from the window, the smell of rosy perfumes, state of the art toiletries/linens/food/etc. then spend a premium and find something premium. Pros: 1) Great value to money. 2) Great location. 3) About a 10 minute walk to the city center. 4) Very helpful and friendly staff. 5) Clean rooms. 6) Cheap breakfast. Cons: 1) The cooling unit was not cooling. 2) Bathroom in the room had a slight stench. I was in Bruges for a night a few days ago, and for €75 a night, this was the BEST VALUE TO MONEY I could find last minute. Add to that €9 for breakfast and that is the cheapest breakfast you can find around. Check out was at 12PM which was an hour more than what most hotels in the area were offering. Best part about it was the location. Right next to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the city. VERY basic room and perhaps a little tight even for European standards, but if you are a solo traveler or a couple on a budget, this is absolutely fine for a few days. I got a triple double, which included a bunk on top of a double bed, and that worked out for our daughter who loved it (my other daughter slept on the bunk in the other room with her aunt). So if you have a large family, then this is a no unless you are getting multiple rooms. The "double" bed is equivalent to a US queen size, which was just fine for me and the Mrs.; but if you are looking for a "king", then, again, find something else (might come with a king size rate as well). Room and bed was clean, with comfy pillows and sheets. If you are a TV watcher (I am not) and you don't know Dutch, then forget about it. TV itself was probably 10 or 11 inches, and I doubt you would be able to connect any of the "modern" devices to it. The only complain I have is the room was VERY HOT. It was quite cold outside but inside was just a sauna, too uncomfortable for my liking. The cooling/heating unit at max fan speed and temperature down to 10°C was just loud, without any major change in the room temperature. Save your money by staying here, so you can spend it in the beautiful city of Bruges.

Stayed here for a business meeting. Although a little hard to find by car, once you know that the entrance requires to be accessed of foot - easy to get about. Very handy for Bruges station! The room was basic but clean, had a great view out across the station platforms so if you like watching trains - great views! Breakfast was good, a continental breakfast well laid out and enjoyable. There are some vending machines for soft drinks and snacks, and irons / hairdryers are available with a deposit from reception. Staff were friendly and helpful, so in all a good stay!

Stayed her for two nights on our first visit to Bruges with friends. Yes it’s basic and the rooms are tiny but that’s what we expected. We booked it because we were travelling in old classic Minis and needed off street parking (which was 12.20€). Rooms were clean and ours was quiet. Friendly staff. Approx 15 min walk into the centre of Bruges. Breakfast was basic and the dining area had a canteen feel but everything was fresh and you can eat as much as you want for 9€ pp. Would we stay here again? Yes we would because we’re there to experience Bruges and not stay at the hotel all day. We had a reasonably comfortable bed and a shower which is all we needed. Probably wouldn’t have breakfast again but instead get out and explore earlier.

Excellent location by Bruge station 10 minutes walk to centre of town. Parking outside hotel just 6.10 euros for 24 hrs. Only problem with this hotel was air conditioning did not work and it was hot. Cheap pice at £68 for double, breakfast extra
