No AC, you will choke and exhaust. Dont get trapped.

This is horrible experience to stay in this hotel. You will realise post your arrival that you are trapped. There is no AC in this hotel. As per the hotel staff its vent of air or Heater. When the outside temperature is 19 degree, the temperature inside room is 30 degree. They changed me from room to room telling we are arranging room with AC. Also there’s no service person to help you with your luggage every time they change you to another room. Service is pathetic. The worst part is you can’t sleep at all as its very hot inside with no proper ventilation. Finally they gave me a fan which is very tiny and makes noise like a machine. They agreed to refund in the middle of my stay but you won’t get a standard hotel as Paris is too costly. Trust me you will regret coming to this hotel.

Nice hotel the rooms are just about manageable. Nothing much with the view from the Hotel as we were given a room facing the highway. The breakfast didn't have a variety for the price we paid...the train, tramp and the bus stops are just a couple of feet away from the hotel. A very big thank you to Shamira and Sonia from the reception, especially Shamira who helped us get to all the locations with very accurate information on how to travel and which transport to take to make it easy. This was a big help especially when you are travelling with a child...

My first time in paris the staff was so helpful with directions around the town.the overall staff was friendly

My experience was great.the staff was nice and very helpful.the breakfast was great.The room was great and big for me and my daughter. I read lot of bad reviews but l decided to ignore it and book the hotel but l never regret it.l definitely come back .

My family of four recently spent 5 nights at Novotel Paris 17. Here's a summary of my experience: Cons: 1. The family room we were assigned was small, making it a tight fit for our luggage. 2. The air conditioning in our room was subpar, and despite raising a complaint, no action was taken to improve it. 3. During the first two days of our stay, I encountered some difficulties when requesting a beer mug from the hotel staff. However, on the third day, my request for the mug was flatly denied, and the bartender offered me a paper cup instead. I approached the front desk (staff member who used to be there in the night shift) and he informed me that it was hotel policy not to provide beer mugs unless the beer was purchased from the hotel. This appeared to be an unusual policy and was a first for me. He was rude too. 4. The separate toilet and bathroom arrangement lacked a washbasin in the toilet, which felt somewhat inconvenient. Pros: 1. The hotel is located in a safe area, with a bus stop right opposite. 2. Justin at the reception went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a late check-out. 3. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring our room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. 4. Nearby Convenience Store: A convenience store just a 5-minute walk away, open until midnight, made it easy to stock up on essentials. In summary, our stay at Novotel Paris 17 had its share of drawbacks, notably the room size and the so called beer mug policy.

No proper air conditioning and blocked bathroom sink

We stayed at the hotel for nights during early September 2023. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly , the bathroom sink was blocked and water not flowing properly. Reported these matter to the reception two times, each time different people were at the reception, they said will look into it , but no action. On the day we were checking out, the toilet was also blocked and water was overflowing after flush. My wife spoke to the receptionist and the lady was rude and arrogant. The receptionist straight away told you are checking out today madam,and nothing we can do now. When my wife asked why you didn’t fix the blocked bathroom sink and air conditioning in the room, the answer was , “I cannot see any job raised for that in our system” . It was shocking for us when we had reported the issue to two different people in the reception and one person had even noted it down on a piece of paper. The experience we had with this Novotel hotel was bad .The management doesn’t care about the customers concerns and they are not fit to run a hotel properly .
