We were very underwhelmed with our overnight stay. We didn't really mind the small and cozy room as we were quite excited about having a bunk bed on top of our double bed (Family room for 3), but the layout was quite odd which gave the low rating. The toilet, shower room and wash basin were all in different rooms. Imagine (hygiene-wise) that after going to the loo, you would have to open the door, walk across the room to the wash basin. I am still reeling from this experience nearly a week from our stay. Also the bunk bed wasn't made, even though we booked for 2 adults and a child. The toilet and shower room feels like they belong to a caravan. Not quite a budget hotel. Staff were friendly, except we couldn't quite understand why the reception staff, after dealing with a customer, didn't acknowledge us, just walked off to the dining area. We waited like idiots until someone else walked out of a room behind the reception area and served us. Now that I have been there, I would avoid it in the future, especially if I were to travel alone or with a child, as one of the streets was filled with parked cars with rough sleepers (Rue du Commandant l'Herminier). Luckily we walked along that street when it was still daylight, but I would not feel safe at all later in the evening.

I tried to call your hotel but after saying I'd like to talk about stay had the phone put down on me. I have emailed multiple times and you haven't even given the courtesy of replying to any. Just goes to show what kind of customer service you have at your establishments. I recently stayed at one of your hotels (ibis budget paris porte de vincennes) and the service of your company is shocking. Recently I had the experience of staying in your store and your services have left me outraged. There is a delay in messaging as I have been on holiday. Get to the hotel and ask to check in to be told we cannot. Asked about early check-in but was told you don't offer it. Later I noticed a sign on the wall outlining that you do and just to speak to the management. Why was I not able to when I requested it? Got assigned to room 308 and was left horrified when I went into the room. There were a lot of issues. The bathroom has stains in there. The smoke detector had filthy used tissue covering it up. There was hair and marks around the room bit to mention unsecured wood hanging off the wall. I went down to speak to the desk and requested another room. After the dismay of what I was explaining they denied that I could have a room replacement and someone would come up and service the room. A guy came in and looked at the toilet and just said it was a stain and then jumped on bed (with shoes on) and removed the tissue and said it was due to smokers. He then turned and left. We tried to go through other issues but he kept going and closed the door. What shocking customer service and would definitely not be recommended and staying in your establishment again." The room wasn't fit for 3 people. The third bunk was that unsafe ended up laying the mattress on the floor. The was debris all over the place and the state of repair of the furniture was shocking. The plugs were loose and didn't feel safe to use. Good job we had power banks. I reached out in hopes of an apology or even compensation for the stay. However that email wasn't even acknowledged with a response. What kind of company doesn't wish to hear feedback or respond to it. I would never suggest anyone to use your service ever. Trust me when I say a night in the car would have been more preferable.

Stayed here while visiting paris over night the room was a disgrace. The smoke alarm had toilet tissue covering it the beds nit made no locks on bathroom door hole in door to bathroom. Wooden panel on wall hanging off spoke to reception and not bothered in the slightest. This hotel cost me 90 pounds to have for 1 night I have stayed in cheaper hotels for far far less and they where cleaner more friendlier. Avoid this hotel at all cost I can't stress how bad it really is. Emailed ibis group 5 emails sent not one replied to that says it all really they don't care at all.

The room was okay, the rooms are good for people who aren't spending any time in the hotel and only sleeping there, For the price, it's okay, The toilet felt like a porter loo, had no lock on the toilet door, and the shower had to be in the coldest setting otherwise if it was on a warm setting it would have burnt you, it was so hot, The bathroom floor wasn't to clean, the toilet floor had hairs, short in the corner of it, didn't feel too clean, the bedroom floor seemed clean until on the last day I picked my suitcase up and it was all dirty on the back. The location is good your not too far away from a metro station 5 minutes walk, which is good, and the line takes you to all of the lines.

Very clean, no frills, functional room with firm comfortable bed and window you can open for fresh air. Compact shower room and separate toilet, sink is in sleeping area. Shower gel / shampoo dispenser in shower, bring ur own hand soap for sink. Paper cups provided. 5 minute walk to Saint-Mandé metro for M1 line. Ideal as base for sightseeing would return.
