Very poor service, booking cancelled in the last minute

Unfortunately, my experience with this Ibis Budget hotel was very poor. 1) The check-in counter was not occupied at 2 p.m. which was said to be the official check-in time 2) The remote receptionist who we called due to automatic check-in issues was very inpolite and anything but customer friendly 3) There are no official parking lots that belong to the Ibis Budget hotel - although this has been guaranteed at the booking website - and you have to look for one on your own which might be not in front of the hotel but in the backyard of a car repair service company 4) Since the automatic check-in didn't work for us, we decided to visit Antibes in the afternoon and do the check-in later. Out of a sudden, our booking reservation was cancelled by the hotel at 6 p.m. It seemed that our credit card was not accepted. Despite the fact that we submitted another one within the time limit of two hours, our booking was rejected. We ended up sleeping in our car because we couldn't find another afdordable apartment given the lack of time.

I could experience a good accomodation even though the trip was organized at the last minute. The hotel was located ain a good position if I consider where my customers were located. I will consider this hotel fior a future trip in the area.

Room #3026: Poor air condition, (room temperature is hottttt) poor maintenance, shower head & soap dispenser hanger were broken. The receptionist was nice and friendly but solved none of our complaints.

Cheap hotel but you get what you pay for... the room was lovely, clean, well presented, air conditioned and suitable. Staff were friendly, helpful. Rooms are accessed by electronic code which is individual by room, I’d say this felt odd as you didn’t feel comfortable talking about the code publicly as you didn’t know who might be listening, maybe that’s just me?! I’d happily return

Room filthy. Only bed had been made and the towels were clean. All the rest was very very dirty. Stains on the unique tiny table, on the stool, on the shelves near the bed. Dust and dirt all over the floor. I had to clean MYSELF the room.
