Discusting F1 stay over.

This place is discusting. Looked at photos before booking thought I had a bathroom and toilet in room. Drove from alicante to Yorkshire and used as a quick stop off. Room was tiny had my wife daughter and dog. Room was extremely hot and smelly. Was noisey. People was smoking. Was very dirty. Bugs in Room biting us all night. No receptionist. Spoke very little English I found them rude and inconsiderate. Avoid this hostle I'd call it at all costs. Tried to book another hotel that night apparently was fully booked. Most horrendous experience.

Travellers beware!

Our daughters stayed in a room opposite us. At 12.30 am we get a phone call to say someone is trying to break in. They were as you can imagine very scared and upset. The guy at the check in desk was useless. No cctv or security . Lots of men in lobby and hanging around . Doors and front and back of hotel left open.

I was very hesitant having read some of the reviews and almost did not go because of them. It would have been a great mistake. Everything was just fine: very safe, clean and the staff was very welcoming and respectful. They never made you feel bad or judged. A very good surprise was the excellent location close to all sorts of walking-distance restaurants if you had to arrive around 6.30pm like us. Breakfast was excellent for the price we paid! All in all an unbeatable price for a "just fine" hotel. Of course you have to go outside of your room for the toilets and the separate shower rooms. It is just a question of organisation, it's a concept. All you need to have is your own towel. A big thank you again!

So disappointed.

Im a club Accor account holder. I use f1 hotels throughout the summer. I understand you get what you pay for. However. This hotel stands out. For bad reasons. We met for breakfast. There was nothing out. All had been eaten. When this was bought to the attention of the girl on duty. She huffed and wasn't interested. We were made to feel very unwelcome and a trouble to her. I asked for her name but she refused. This hotel needs a shake up. Starting with the unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Shame.

About 450 miles from Calais. To eat there are MuckDonalds and KFC near by, also that big red buffalo place, that we have never been in. Rooms are clean and don't smell. Lots of space to eat in the morning. This is a typical example of an F1 hotel; cheap, clean and comfy. Ideal for a pitstop. The lady at the desk couldn't generate new door codes for me after someone else saw them. That is what she said anyway. Hence the low staff rating.
