I booked a 3-night stay at the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract, and we met a guest receptionist who called Marvel. She was helping us to check in at the hotel, but it was funny that we could not understand her, as she speaks poor English, and that we had her repeat whatever she said from our guide, so we could understand what she was telling us. How such a big hotel like that, Marvel is the face of the hotel. Poor service

The ultimate luxury experience in Egypt not just aswan, The best service you will get in Egypt by far, when you get there just ask for Hedra and doors of heaven will open for you, attentive and cheerful in way that will delight your day. Don't forget to tip him well cause rest assured it will be well deserved

Old Cataract Hotel is a place to visit once in your life. Ask Agatha Christie. Here not death but the high life is what you experience. From the historic hotel to modern first class service it is a pleasure to stay here. Friendly staff like Miriam are everywhere. The view the rooms the pool all invite you to relax and enjoy.

This is such a stunning hotel with excellent view of the Nile! And the hotel is not only full of historic sense but also with modern elegance! This is the best hotel that I have ever been to and credit to beautiful guest relations named Marvel! She speaks fluent Chinese as well.

This has been an annual trip for me and my family for more than 10 years, the location is perfect, the rooms are spacious and very clean with great views, great service and great restaurants, but honestly the staff and the hospitality are the best part of the place
