Dear Sadaf, I want to sincerely apologize for the incredibly disappointing experience you had during your recent stay at Hotel Mercure Wien City. Your detailed account of the numerous issues you encountered is deeply concerning, and I assure you that this does not reflect the high standards of cleanliness and service that we strive to uphold. I am truly sorry for the unacceptable conditions you encountered in your assigned bedroom upon arrival. This is completely unacceptable, and I understand how distressing and inconvenient it must have been for you. Rest assured that I have personally addressed this matter with our housekeeping team to ensure that thorough measures are taken to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future. I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced when seeking a resolution to the cleanliness issues. It is regrettable that we were unable to provide you with suitable alternative accommodations promptly. Your feedback regarding the breakfast offerings has also been noted, and we will take steps to improve the quality and variety of our breakfast options. Regarding the compensation offered, I understand that a €5 drink voucher was not adequate considering the severity of the situation. Please accept my sincerest apologies for this oversight. I will personally review our compensation policies to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address such situations more effectively in the future. Your concerns regarding the lack of acknowledgment of your Diamond member status and the discrepancies in room amenities have been duly noted, and we will address these issues with our team to ensure that such oversights do not recur in the future. Regarding the provision of room service and complimentary amenities, after discussing your complaint with our fellow receptionists, I was informed that you have been upgraded to our Privilege category for both of the rooms booked, completely free of charge. This upgrade includes a range of exclusive amenities and benefits to enhance your stay with us. In addition to your upgraded accommodations, you received complimentary bottled water replenished daily. Our minibar offerings was also be provided to you at no extra cost, allowing you to indulge in a selection of beverages at your convenience. Furthermore, as Privilege guests, you had access to all the amenities that are standard in our Privilege rooms. This includes enhanced room features, among others, comfortable bathrobes and slippers to ensure a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Also, as compensation for the inconvenience, we have credited courtesy points to your All member card.
