Stayed for 3 nights. Compact room and small bathroom. Very basic but clean and comfortable bed. Fresh and clean linen. Nice decor. Looks renovated/new. Hotel is right next to Nice Ville train station. Helpful and friendly reception staff. Keep in mind if you’re planning on visiting anytime soon, that the poolside area is under some renovation and there’s construction noise during day time. It did not bother us as we were away during the day time.

No swimming pool Building site Charged to change rooms for 2single beds for kids Charged £40 for tax even though the workers where still there working and drilling through the day so no relaxation Break Breakfasts finished at 9.55 every morning

Don’t listen to bad reviews . They are a load of rubbish . . This is a fab hotel .

Genuinely what is wrong with people . Complain complain. This hotel is fab . Cleaned everyday . Beautiful and clean. . Next to train station. I’ve walked all over nice . Reception staff are so helpful . Shops next to hotel . Fab buffet breakfast all fresh . Do not listen to these negative reviews . Unbelievable. I have travelled 56 countries in 4:6 years . Room do all over provide less facilities. . There is no tea and coffee . So bring heat element .and packet t &c . No safe . No fridge . This is getting normal . So what . I’m solo and this is luxury for the money . Im here 7 days and tours pick u up from here . Just remember u need the 2 pin plug with the hole in to go over the element in the wall . I am a budget solo and this suits me. . A fab area from so many walking attractions . Trains . Buses . Can’t ask for more .

Two star room in a four star hotel

Overall, we found the hotel had a mix of two extremes- two star and four star features. We stayed for 4 nights and here is our review. Location The location is amazing. A stone throw away from the station, shops and a medium walk to the old town and beach. Staff All the staff we interacted with were lovely. I don't know much french but they all gladly helped in English Hotel room The hotel room was VERY basic. They are small and there is little space to store clothes or luggage. We would've appreciated a closed cupboard or something especially as there wasn't a safe at all. The room also comes with nothing apart from paper cups (just to be warned). Air conditioning is good though. TV was a smart tv but we couldn't connect it for youtube etc unfortunately. Good shower though. The best part of the room was the bed which was clean, modern and super comfy. Housekeepers done a great job cleaning too! Swimming pool The best thing about the hotel and what makes it easily a 3* for us is the swimming pool. Good depth of max maybe 1.4m? Good size and plenty of really comfy sunbeds in the sun as well as table and chairs. We had the pool to ourselves most days but I assume in higher seasons this would get busy. Well worth the pool.

Do not stay here. The rooms are tiny, bare and disgusting and the inedible breakfast even worse. I will be writing to IBIS for a refund as it was not as described. I asked to change rooms and the second room was no better than the first so asked to move again and was told the hotel was full. I cancelled my booking and moved to a fabulous hotel for the same price. I paid 140 euros a night I think I should have been paid that to stay there.
