Brilliant event, fabulous service

We had a large event here on 13th April for Bearsted Cricket Club’s 275 anniversary. The evening was a great success, the staff lead by Jo were all brilliant and very professional and the planning side of things with Jade was also very straightforward. Highly recommend for a large event

Great Danes: Great venue, great location, and great breakfast. I meet business colleagues here on a regular basis and they serve the best buffet breakfast available locally here. Restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

A good nights halt on our way home

On an early booking offer half board was good value for a short stay. It is close to the M20 yet quiet with good sized rooms and a comfy bed. The menu for half board had improved since last year and breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice. The only downside was the £30 charge for our dog which was 3 times more than Accor hotels in France.

Great service from the all staff at the hotel. Was a quick stop off on the way to France for a business trip . Only stayed 1 night but the restaurant food was great had a quick dip in the pool which was great and breakfast in the morning before I left . The room was ok but the bed was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates great service from the start.

Wrongly charged TWICE

Disappointed in many ways with this trip. When we arrived, the staff member used the card we had on file to automatically take money for our stay. In the middle of the night, more money has been taken from Mecure out of my account. I went down in the morning, and they refunded it and said it would take 5 days. However, I looked an hour later and they didn’t refund the money, they charged me again! I went to the desk again and when I said the lady immediately disagreed and said she refunded me. However, 30s later, she saw she was wrong. But there was no apology from her whatsoever. I used my credit card to secure my book and now Mecure charged me without my permission, and wrongly, twice! Is it staff who haven’t been properly trained that I trusted with my details or a bad system again that I trusted with my details. I’m not impressed with the lack of apologies or compensation either. If Mecure/ Accor would like to take it further, I would welcome this. Hotel wise- bedrooms were dated, breakfast was disappointing as there wasn’t much there due to a group of 20. Maybe there could have been a heads up for that.
