"Budget" is far too generous, I would suggest IBIS Cut-Rate

Reserved a double but was given a standard with a ladder up to a bunkbed. When I complained and showed the receptionist the reservation she said "the previous receptionist must have changed it"; and of course no other rooms were available. This is rubbish. I am too old to fight around a ladder which is why I reserved a double. I suggest you check you have what you booked before you pay. The second issue with this stay was the stink from the sink and shower drains which was unbelievably awful. The only solution I found was to cover them with towels and open the window to clear the air. This issue arises is due to poor drainage design, construction or maintenance.

My car was vandalised in the hotel car park when I asked the staff to check their CCTV they said they didn’t have time totally unhelpful. Would never stay there again shoving treatment to a customer..

Hotel was not clean and some of the checkin Staff was not friendly and ask for extra charges. I wouldn't recommend staying in this Hotel .Search for a better place . I went there with my brother and his son. The location is not bad but unfortunately non of us were happy to stay there .There was a bad smell as soon we entered the lobby .

Overnight stop

The hotel made for a good overnight stop and is not too far to drive from Grenoble. The room itself was one room with a sink in the middle and a shower with a glass door to the side and a wooden door to a separate toilet. There isn't a chair, just a stool and no table or place to put your case but it's ok for an overnight stop. There is a small breakfast area which was quite busy and as items ran out e.g. croissants, bread they had to keep bringing them out and refilling but a few times the baskets with say croissants were empty so had to ask. There was no hot food but was ok and as expected for the price. There is free parking around the hotel.

This is good value for money. Its newish so most things work. Make sure the air conditioning is working (not just pushing air around) and if not go and complain. Cleanliness is sometimes lacking - they could do better especially in these Covid times.
