Lovely hotel in a super location - just across the bridge from the Old Town - a lot closer than we thought from the map. Room was spacious and bathroom great - only downside was a very uncomfortably hot room and no cold water in taps and fridge off, which may have helped us cool down (sounds like AC was off for winter). But staff were super and very helpful and can't fault the hotel in general. Didn't have breakfast as it was expensive but plenty of great bakeries open in old town.

Visited this sad excuse for a hotel in early August of 2023. Thought we booked a 4 star hotel but no… this isn’t even worthy of being called a motel. It’s absolutely terrible. Here are some of the worst parts of this hotel: • WE FOUND FLEAS! As we were to go to bed on our 4th night there we found fleas jumping on the bed… we contacted the reception who then came and just looked at the bed sheets and said yes it’s fleas and we’ll clean your room… Firstly, I’ll attach photos of where they keep the laundry and bedsheets (which is outside in the back yard hanging out of containers)… the staff just didn’t care. We asked to change rooms but that was declined and we were told it wasn’t possible. • Horrible breakfast with old food and dirty dishes and cutlery. • Terribly rude staff who really does not care about you or the place of their employment. • A woman who was at breakfast one morning was food poisioned and when she told the staff they denied it and said it didn’t happpen an the hotel even though that was the only meal she’d eaten all day. • The windowseals were broken so all the noise from the street was seeping through at. • The bed sheets were covered in paper residue and flea poop. • There is an IBIS 1-star hotel right next door in the same building and this hotel belongs in that very same category… we paid €1200 for a week there it was a straight ripoff! We tried calling Booking.com for a complete refund but received no help at all. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT’S HOLY. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Spent 5 nights here and we were very happy with the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly- especially Victoria. On my husband’s 70th birthday, staff came to the breakfast room and serenaded him, as well as presenting him with a little cake and candle. It was a lovely touch! The hotel is very well situated. We could walk everywhere we wanted. It was quiet and clean.

Didn’t Go! Booking 6 months Previously at Exceptionally Good Price(Agonda) Agonda cancelled saying My Email wasn’t recognised And Card Details Incorrect NOT TRUE!!! Then tried To charge almost 800 Euros More for the 4rooms we had previously Booked (3night Stay) As I didn’t agree they cancelled our Booking! On Hind Sight Agonda did us A Favour We Were Lucky as Being The 3Kings Celebrations Malaga was Exceptionally Busy We Booked with Booking.com MS Hotel Maestranza Excellent Service Food Location ,Superb Hotel with Friendly Helpful Staffxxx

An enjoyable stay, very helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and it's close enough to walk to the attractions. The housekeeping and cleanliness I couldn't fault. I can recommend this for a stay in Malaga.
