A greast stop-over on the way to Spain

Ideally located near the port and only a stroll away from Centre Ville. The hotel is comfortable and easily accessed. Breakfast included. As with most French towns you will need to book parking prior to arrival as there will be no spaces availble in the street

It’s a simple and basic hotel but it has a modern and light interior which makes it feel just a tiny bit larger. The bed was comfortable and they have a small bar at the reception. The location is quite good - 10min walk from Saint Jean de Luz. During the day there are some services around but in the evening you need to walk across the bridge. The staff were very kind.

We stayed here for one night in late September, a bit difficult to get to hotel, as little signage. Reception not the most welcoming, but okay, room allocated was on fourth floor, very small, and a small shower room. The person sleeping next to the window had to shimmy around the shelf and folding table. Breakfast was not great either, we arrived at 9am, to see all croissants gone, and not replaced. Coffee machine had a mind of its own and dispensed what it wanted, pressed cappucino and got hot chocolate, pressed white coffee got tepid mud water, it took 3 attempts to get a coffee! Would we return? Answer NOPE!

Basic Ibis Budget not as good as other Ibis Budget stayed at. Ok for one night stop especially with secure underground car park at no extra fee. In quiet area and about 15 mins walk to centre of St Jean. Rooms small and bathroom sink part of room so no privacy. Looks like common parts need upgrading but room and bed clean and comfortable.

This hotel offers the Ibis usual high standards of comfort and cleanliness. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Very well located hotel, only a short walk to the town centre where you'll find restaurants and the beach front. Also offers secure parking which was a real bonus. A real benefit for us was that it's pet friendly. There is a small garden in front of the hotel which is good for dog walking.
