We stayed here as a family of 4. From the start the hotel went above and beyond. This was a trip for a birthday for my daughter and the staff had left out balloons and banners alongside a card and gift. They also upgraded the room. The room was immaculate. Very well equipped including a nespresso machine. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very well kept and included all toiletries required. The swimming pool, gym, sauna etc were all very clean and well presented. A perfect size for a short break. Breakfast was very good and well worth the money. A very good selection of hot and cold choices. The staff made this trip what it was. Everyone from reception to the cleaning staff were friendly and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Location is very good as well with a quick tram journey in to the centre of town. All in all this was 5/5 and I would highly recommend the hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights when visiting Edinburgh for a City Break and Loved it. Ideal location, in a quiet area outside the center with a tram stop a 2 minute walk away. The tram can take you to and from the City Center and Airport which makes travel and accessibility effortless. We found the staff to be very cheerful and friendly with Zander on reception and Vittoria and Jesus on Breakfast to be particularly professional and good at their jobs! The room was comfortable and clean and the food was tasty and fresh. Definitely would stay again!

Perfect location for catching the tram into Edinburgh and really friendly staff

I have stayed here a few times with work in the past so decided to visit for a short break with the other half. The hotel is lovely and the staff are great. We made full use of the leisure facilities and the restaurant. One member of staff that was outstanding is a young lady called Zuzzan? I do hope that's how you spell it. She was brilliant serving us in the restaurant and bar area. We will certainly be back

As we were staying at this lovely hotel we decided to have a evening meal there, the menus was very full and great choices we had a lovely table next to the window, the staff were great and a great wine and drinks menu. The next morning we had breakfast there, plenty of choices, fresh orange juice a full Scottish breakfast, a buffet style set up and again the staff were very helpful.

This is a modern hotel. It had excellent rooms at a surprisingly affordable rate. The hotel is dog friendly although I was rather disappointed to find that there was only one table in the restaurant at which we could sit with the dog. The other thing to be aware of at this hotel is the parking. The car park has ample spaces but it is not free. Novotel have subcontracted the parking to an outside company who operate the parking charges on behalf of the hotel. The cost of parking is £8 per day. This hotel is situated in an easy to get to location. The City of Edinburgh Bypass goes right past it making it extremely easy to get to. There is also a lot in the area. There is a retail park and a Tesco within walking distance. There is a KFC directly opposite the hotel. If you are considering this hotel then I say go for it.
