No Sleep, no staff control.

Kept awake from 2.30am till 9am on our last night of a four night stay. The commotion was caused by a group of young adults running between several rooms on the fourth floor.Door slamming, people talking in the corridors, checked out feeling very tired and ill, drove 6 hours home. Not amused.

Great value and very close to Gunwharf Quays. The reception check in chap, can’t remember his name, lovely young lad very pleasant and professional. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and great shower pressure. There was free parking which is not common in most hotels. This was a bonus. It is close to restaurants, a nice park where I could walk my dog and plenty of shops. Would come back again.

This hotel is still being used to house homeless druggies . No wonder it is so cheap! Please avoid at all costs - rude, threatening, some with dogs that they allow to do their business in the surrounding carpark areas & don’t bother to clear it up. Awful experience. Feel sorry for the staff

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The lady at reception provided suggestions on what we could do in Portsmouth as well as where we could eat. The hotel has free car parking across the road at the B&Q. The room was basic and small, however, you can’t complain as it is a budget hotel.

I think for a budget hotel and only £40 for the night, I was happy to stay here. I think for the price you're in a great location to explore Portsmouth. If you're expecting anything more than basic you will be quite disappointed. But it was clean, beds were comfortable, it was quiet and parking was free. So I would recommend if you're travelling on a budget.
