Gatwick Sofitel airport hotel… my experience was nice and might visit the same hotel again in future… it’s comfortable….

Very polite and helpful staff… Miss Pamela was amazing with a wonderful smile… I visited this hotel for the 2nd time now airport hotels are always with less facilities but the good part was there staff which was always helpful and very nice to me…

What a smashing hotel! From checking in to checking out! Staff are fantastic especially the receptionist that checked us in…her name was Lara and she explained everything to us what we needed to know…and then told us we were guests of the day and got upgraded which was a fantastic surprise!

Outstanding friendly staff. Very helpful in any situation. I really appreciate the way how she got into a conversatikn with me. The meaning of her name reflects what sche really is. A true sunshine. I left reception with a big smile on my face.

I never expect much of airport hotels. This is the second time I’ve been surprised lately. We were met by Sal, a most pleasant porter who carried our bags up to check in and then to our room. He was a superb representative of the hotel; friendly, informative and eager to ensure that we were comfortable. The 8th floor room with runway view was great. The shower and Balmain cosmetics were excellent, the minibar with complimentary soft drinks was most appreciated, so was the 8th floor lounge. We had a pizza in the restaurant which was fine. Less impressed to get a call later to tell us we hadn’t paid for our drinks, we had, on credit card! The bar was the weakest link with slow service, otherwise we were very happy all round.
