this was an excellent facility,very handy to airport with great staff that seemed to go abopve and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.the rooms are very comfortabl and quiet.we had drinks and meals downstairs and found the service and food very good. would definitely stay again.

The rooms are spacious, clean & very comfortable. The bathrooms are well appointed with a range of toiletries that were more than adequate. Our beds were comfortable with great pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful making our check-in and out with ease, nothing was too much trouble. This is a convenient location.

Good family room with plenty of space, very friendly and helpful staff, great location for Intl Airport, kids loved the pool with a view of the city. Meals in the restaurant were lovely, enjoyed the Aussie touch on the breakfast buffet before flying back to Asia.

Would have definitely given a 4☆ until I met the GM after major issues @ the hotels restaurant. I specifically asked for eggs a specific way (soft scrambled) which I could immediately tell cooked hard & cardboard box eggs & not the real thing, wait staff went back and again NOT cooked soft, and bacon so hard just terrible! I asked who's the manager, he pointed to the front desk buy was ultimately talking to the GM, who ultimately called me rude, not even listening to me, smart ass remarks "you were in the kitchen watching them cook....", I don't have to I see my food was visibly cooked wrong, but this man's overall NASTY UNPROFESSIONAL attitude made my skin crawl, clearly couldn't careless what hotels customers have to say. Room itself spacious and nice BUT tv u have to navigate each time it goes on to get ANY live tv channels. Bed & pillows could be a little softer. And please get USA style plugs in your rooms, especially since your so close to an international Airport.

Dirty, dirty

After flying in from Singapore, we paid a day rate to enable us to get a few hours sleep and a shower before an evening flight to New Zealand. On entering the hotel all looked very positive. When you go up to your room the alarm bells sound as you notice the front door is dirty, fingerprints etc. This is always a good sign to check the cleanliness of a hotel. Although the bed was good with good quality clean sheets it went downhill from there. The bathroom was filthy! Hairs in the sink and on the toilet which didn't even look like it had been flushed properly. The toilet paper had just been ripped off and touched by a previous occupant and the toilet paper steel cover was filthy. When opening a cupboard there was paper from a previous occupant. It was so dirty we decided not to have a shower there. We travelled on to NZ and stayed at the Christchurch airport Novotel which was fantastic and spotlessly clean
