The IBIS is located about 5 - 10 minutes' level walk from the centre of Lavaur, making it very convenient for local restaurants. There are also shops nearby if needed. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful, and our bedroom was spotlessly clean and a very good size for a budget hotel. A mains outlet with 2 USB charging sockets was provided by the bed. The location is quite quiet and has some nice outside seating for good weather days. There are two car parks, to find the rear one (secured with electric gate), look on Google Streetview, but remember that it is located on a one-way street so to get out to the centre you have to drive round a small residential block. We used the 24-hour snack facility and the food was well-cooked and very tasty. Breakfast offered a good choice of cold meats and cheeses, plus an egg-boiler. There were also cereals and, nice luxury, freshly squeezed orange juice. Dining area was well-appointed. We are happy to recommend this hotel and intend to use it again in the future.

We booked here because problems:cancellation elsewhere. Turned out to be a great find. Clean, friendly, super helpful (we lost a cell phone), and very fair price. Decent breakfast included. Nice little town with really good nearby restaurants. Easy to recommend. I would seek this chain elsewhere when I can.

A great stop for any motorcyclist touring through France

Taking a first of a two-night stop through France from Spain back to the UK, we came across Ibis in Lavaur. Being a known brand, you know what you are going to get. The receptionist greeted us with a welcoming smile and was efficient to get us booked in. She explained we could park our motorbikes in the car park to the rear; however we had trouble trying to locate it so parked them in front of the hotel. After checking GoogleMaps when I got home, the secure gated entrance is further down the road which runs directly behind the hotel. With a good selection of food and drink on offer in the evening as well as for breakfast the following morning, everything we needed for our brief stop was available on site. After a great night's sleep, we ready for our ride towards Orleans.

Easy to find, just a few minutes from train station, a few minutes' walk into Lavaur with a supermarket/cafes etc. We were on the 1st floor where the rooms had all been renovated, simple but stylish, comfortable beds, good quality fittings. Friendly reception staff. Good breakfast buffet, including an invitation to take a piece of fruit with you. Quiet stay over a weekend even though the hotel was full. Recommended. For UK visitor's it's a little strange not to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but you are only a few minutes from some excellent little places for breakfast, takeaway coffee etc. Wifi was adequate (we were only checking email etc).
